The DR650 will make a decent SM bike. It is heavier than say the DRZ400 but the motor can be made to run really strong without a lot of work and the low to mid power is a real asset exiting turns. If you buy a mid-pipe for the bike you can adapter any muffler that will fit.... I looked at a number of sport bike mufflers before going with the GSXR titanium unit. This one is the best for fit, light weight and physical size.
Yeah, they are getting harder to find. I'm pretty sure there are more of them on DR650's than on GSXR1000's by now. LOL! It is a great mod, light, sounds awesome and never needs repacking.
The stock DR650 muffler doesn't really have a mid pipe per se. Its just part of the muffler as it snakes around changing sizes. To install the GSXR1000 muffler I needed a regular mid-pipe.
yeah maybe its look like but its a Hindle especially for Dr650 96/08.. I like the sounds it make so much that I cannot imagine ride with the original muffler...

Good deal! They are getting tougher and tougher to find... I think there are more of them on DR650's now then on GSXR 1000's. LOL!

It's an LM1 oxygen sensor/recorder. I used this, along with a dyno session, for tuning the the FCR-MX carb and GSXR exhaust system.

I wish I would have seen your vid before I spent 300+$ on the FMF .Used GXSR cans are cheap!
The FMF does have the spark arrestor [stamped] .But I am no longer riding my 2000 DR650 offroad. to heavy .DR400 for the dirt. Thanks!

Wow! That one has some bark to it. Looks like a YZ400/425 muffler?

Hey Rob, sounds great, but next time you shouldn't look through the camera to grab the throttle, lol
