@total0wnage Not at all. The 02-03 WRX 5 speeds can't handle much power but after that they were great transmissions. The STi transmission has always been a very strong and long lasting transmission. I have a friend with 120,000 miles on his bone stock STi transmission and for over 100,000 of those miles he has had over 400awhp. All Subaru engines are extremely long lasting, look at any old GL and they will easily handle over 300,000 miles. Subaru quality control is way higher than Mitsubishi
