Back then I really didn't see the point in having so many rings on hand since only 1 single ring would suffice for keeping you from dieing. So to me, now it makes a bit more sense that haveing more rings would give you more protection otherwise what's the point other than buying stuff.

That was not auto-tune! It was vocoding! It might not be loved by some, that's fine. But I personally love this version compared to the original. I don't know why, the original was good, but this one is just more energetic and fun to listen to. I hope that the songs they played at Sonic Boom will be released some how.
