Well that was a nice film! I am doing a project on hallucinogenic drugs for psychology class and this is certainly interesting! However, are the cities we build not ecosystems as well? They too support life, and flourish with not only humans but also many other animals. I will agree that it is not natural nor as healthy as a normal ecosystem. Again, nice job.

it's a fantastic documentary, and I like the fact that Erowid was used (it;s the molecule at 10:48) but a while in it lost its relation to psilocybin and seemed to simply be a mere documentary about the Earth.

Also, you should try a non-denominational church or life group. While they still have a stubborn view of drugs, the rest of their message is really different. They don't go about scaring you with Hell, but instead promote freedom, peace and love through Jesus Christ. And they're really accepting and try not to judge.

@TheChilly77 - I have read many books on evolution (my forthcoming book Darwin's Unfinished Business is published next month, and is about evolution and intelligence) and it is clear, to me at least, that evolution has happened - that all species are related and that life is forever changing in an eminently sensible fashion. There are likely to be genetic processes involved in evolution that we are not yet wise to (akin to the nifty DNA error checking mechanisms that we already know about).
@psybinetic If you choose to ignore facts just because they don't fit current theory then that theory is lacking....all evidence should be included and yet there is not 1 example to date of actual species evolution only "missing links". @psybinetic Yes I feel this too. I think this video brilliant, but I also have many questions regarding the accepted notion of evolution, because there is no evidence of a species changing into another, though of course there is changes in body, as with that bird's neck.

I've been wanting to try mushrooms for quite some time but a lot of things have been making it hard. The first one being that it is illegal. The second one is acquiring it. I live in an urban area, it doesn't grow anywhere near me. Having to get it through drug dealers is dangerous, and the ones here only sell the harmful stuff like cocaine and heroin. The third being that even if I acquire it, my parents would never understand why I would want to use it, so I can't calmly use it in the yard.

Once they fruit; experiment with them in the safety of your bedroom, door locked... no need to run around the yard, just looking out the window will be magical enough ;) Close your eyes, relax.... and "download upgrades"........ :)

Excellent, the best video i have seen on youtube so far, the truth put across clearly and directly. i spent 3 years during my 20's doing mushrooms in the wilds of west yorkshire, and i touched the face of "god". nature is all , and we are part of it, we have lost that connection and that is why we feel lost within ourselves. i am now in my 40's but i look back on those days and remember those lessons and feel priviledged to have been given that insight.

it's a fantastic documentary, and I like the fact that Erowid was used (it;s the molecule at 10:48) but a while in it lost its relation to psilocybin and seemed to simply be a mere documentary about the Earth.
that doesn't necessarily make it an inaccurate documentary, per se, I just found that to be a bit irksome.
otherwise, fantastic work, and fantastic book. I loved it.

Also, you should try a non-denominational church or life group. While they still have a stubborn view of drugs, the rest of their message is really different. They don't go about scaring you with Hell, but instead promote freedom, peace and love through Jesus Christ. And they're really accepting and try not to judge.

If not I cannot take you seriously and can only conclude that you have not done the research. Also your doc is presented from the outside looking in. A nice video. A nice depiction of nature. Made me even long to be alive again, although I "know" that the environment is too destroyed today, to be possible to enjoy. Your advice in the end - that city dwellers should go visit the pristine areas, is rather doubtful. I think. If they did, there would very soon not be anything pristine left. They better die as soon as possible, where they are.

tried it earlier with my friend came from puerto island here in the philippines im a straight up smoker and it was our 1st time... i smoke a bowl then we ate 3 spoon my friend didnt smoke some cause he said he really wnna feel how its like... it tasted like berries and their was some liquid stuff i was expecting like mushroom looking thinkg like i saw on movies... but it was a blast it was psychdelic alright hahaha cant really explain it colors are vibrant and u should just try it a trip!

@TheChilly77 - I have read many books on evolution (my forthcoming book Darwin's Unfinished Business is published next month, and is about evolution and intelligence) and it is clear, to me at least, that evolution has happened - that all species are related and that life is forever changing in an eminently sensible fashion. There are likely to be genetic processes involved in evolution that we are not yet wise to (akin to the nifty DNA error checking mechanisms that we already know about).

Alternatively, the natural intelligence paradigm (i.e. evolution is a naturally intelligent process that weaves together naturally intelligent systems of bio-logic) is outlined in my immanent Darwin's Unfinished Business book.

I submit to the ideas of natural intellect. In fact I'd go as far as to proclaim that you can have emotional or cognitive connections with the trees while under the psilocybin mushrooms simply by touching them. They don't talk, but convey emotions and thoughts, like the Pink Floyd song: There' someone in my head but it's not me, but in a good way. I've been wanting to try mushrooms for quite some time but a lot of things have been making it hard. The first one being that it is illegal. The second one is acquiring it. I live in an urban area, it doesn't grow anywhere near me. Having to get it through drug dealers is dangerous, and the ones here only sell the harmful stuff like cocaine and heroin. The third being that even if I acquire it, my parents would never understand why I would want to use it, so I can't calmly use it in the yard.

He wasn't able to get any more, though, so right now my hopes are in him getting acid.
I spent my time in a park with a friend. A lower amount of mushrooms is very similar to being intensely high.

Excellent, the best video i have seen on youtube so far, the truth put across clearly and directly. i spent 3 years during my 20's doing mushrooms in the wilds of west yorkshire, and i touched the face of "god". nature is all , and we are part of it, we have lost that connection and that is why we feel lost within ourselves. i am now in my 40's but i look back on those days and remember those lessons and feel priviledged to have been given that insight.
