One of the best matches in the tag team tournament in AJPW. There was too large differences in size and power between both teams. Ricky & Jay, one of JCP's greatest face teams, warded off some stiff blows with agility and kept up with Hansen & Brody. I enjoyed the essence of JCP.

Brody and Hansen were monsters in Japan. They didn't go out of their way to make Steamboat and Youngblood look bad, but if you look bigger and stronger than the other team, you shouldn't sell as much for them.

As for the Road Warriors, Brody and Hansen would have stretched them and made the cry. Unless the match took place later in the Warriors careers, then they might have the experience to keep up with Hansen and Brody

I agree. Back than it looked better and more realistic for the smaller team to struggle and try and over come the odds. Not like this WWE crap where the smallest guy would beat the big show in TV time remaining.

Unfortunately Brody and Hansen didn't really sell for Ricky and Jay who were one of the greatest tag teams of all time.

But i guess that's why a lot of people did not like Brody and Hansen. Because didn't always like to make their opponents look good.

Awesome2some Brody and Hanson. I wish the Road Warriors would've gone up against these guys. Realisticaly, I don't think Verne Gagne or JCP could handle that one! No one would agree to a finish. As for Jay and Rick, it was a prelude for what was to come for them in beating Jack and Jerry Brisco at Starcade 83. Kdogg my Chicago brutha! You know where it's at!
