Accounts show that Johnson raised thousands of pounds when Michael died and only gave £5000 to charity whilst the money was used to buy up trademarks ) scamming! cheating!. Surpised Larry got involved. That Taaj Mallick and Howard Mann were involved (2 of the most disrespected people in Michaels fan base) if they had won few fans would have given any money. @IM4MJ2 I do not believe that the term re-register actually means that Melissa's HTWF will be shut down. I believe the term means that HTWF will be re-registered under the name of the Estate. So it will be a continuation but under MJ's name not Melissa. For me I am absolutely delighted that HTWF will exist again as an official charity of MJs. I hope that the Estate will use HTWF just as Michael would have wanted. Thank you Larry and Taaj for keeping us posted with the court hearings.

I should have mentioned in my report that i had personal experience with Melissa Johnson and Heal the World Foundation before Michael died. They were very helpful in the making of my documentary "Michael Jackson: The Untold Story of Neverland". They volunteered their efforts for free and I never got the feeling that it was about the money. Anyway, when The Estate said the were scamming, that was not the "old fools" experience :-). And the truth is that Mr Nimmer has also sought out the truth and created a new video, correcting the misinformation he gave here. I think you should take a leaf out of Mr Nimmer's book and get some objectivity and a better understanding of these legal proceedings. All I can say is I'm very disappointed in the MJ Estate for settling. Michael cut ties with this organization in 2002/2003. They had no legal right to use Michael's name or image to trick the public into donating funds. Katherine was absolutely wrong in this. They put her as head of the board? Really? @IM4MJ2 Mickie, I'm aware that the estate took over rights to all things related to Michael. This is not the foundation that was started by Michael. It was restarted by Melissa Johnson and others to wrestle money from the fans. They didn't have the permission at all to use Michael's name to raise money. Katherine was wrong to push this. MJ supported dozens of charities, so why push this one and not the others? We'll see where the money is really going now.
