Those highliners were built by the Saint Louis Company.They were retired when Metra bought the Nippon Sharyo fleet.Metra is likely to buy a new fleet from the Sumitomo Group in 2012.Nice shot.
Yeah i agree but that is Metra Electric and they might have let them go to other railroad line or services becuase they recentley had goten more of them

The highliner cars are on there way to the scrapper, As MED gets there new stainless steel cars the 30+ yr old highliners will be retired.
