  • wayofthemaster Is a great site, no I'm not spam

  • @sluggo06 yes u are

  • I have recently gone into the sandblaster endever. Well on top of the fact that you need a powerfull compressor, you need something to dry the air out to keep the blaster from clogging. Me and my dad have a project truck (96 OJ edition black bronco) we are doing the body side of the project and I discovered how expensive painting and doing auto body work can be. To get back to the story, when I am all prepared to do like 1.5 hours of blasting at least, the blaster clogged 10 min in.

  • biggest thing u need is a strong compressor to push the blaster

  • On Ebay they have many small sandblasters (20gal).Would a small sandblaster be good for me to use at home on my old car?Would neighbors hear alot of noise?

  • fuck the neighboors, as long as its not past 10pm

  • @TheoneGodfather

The noise is made by the compressor not by the gun or the sand hitting metal...Small sandblaster is fine-I use a 10 gal 200 Max PSI tank with a Sanblasting gun at 80PSI and it works quite well for small pieces. I mostly do manifolds, valve covers, exhaust and rust removal etc.

  • I wouldn't have thought to use a sand/media blaster. I'd have spent needless time sanding. Cool.

  • Thanks so much. I was about to create havok with my new sandblaster until I saw this vid.
