Rand and Ron PLEASE distance yourself from Palin. She is nothing like you in my book. I know I'll catch backlash for that but I just see her as an opportunist jumping on the Tea Party/Constitutionalist movement. I question her motives.
Sarah Palin is not conservative at all, is what I submit. I agree with HandyMan. Her mentality that Christianity and "good ol American ways" means nothing but intervention anywhere she sees fit. SICK. Look to the Constitution!!!

She's realistic for overseas. This idea we created it, or started it, or made them radical reformers when all you have to do is look back to the 11th century to see what Jihadists tried to do with all of Europe before the Christians beat their asses to know this is not the fault of America. I blame Ron Paul for exploiting weak minds....and really doesn't have the Reaganesque qualities that Palin has to motivate people to change for the better.
Let them kill the terrorists in their homeland first. Then the USA wouldn't be burdened with it. A simple answer....if they don't, they pay the price of us having to protect the world from this....the "new world order" or the desire of such are by the folks in their caves right now plotting to make you learn Arabic.
The reason the Middle East hates America is because we are intruding on their lives. I hope the Chinese military occupies your home and tells you what to do with an AK-47 pointed to your head. Maybe you will understand what the term blow-back means then.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Nonsense....as I said...let them kill the terrorists before the terrorists have time and gather resources and energy to attack US! You can never force people to like you (what Ron Paul doesn't seem to understand) but YOU CAN force them to fear you.
No Ron says the reason they hate us is because we have been bombing them for over 10 years. When you mess with another country, radicals immerge to attack the country attacking them. i.e. If someone pushes you to the ground and kicks you while you are down, when you get up, you punch back in retaliation. This is why America needs to stop it's empire building, we are creating more enemies and we need not occupy other nations witrh the hatred that will be directed towards us in the future.
America did not bomb them for ten years when they tried to take over the Holy Land 900 years ago. I am sick of people making excuses for power-hungry tyrants and terrorists. We squashed the Nazi war machine which was an ideology much more advanced and sophisticated than this stone-age culture that people like you and Ron Paul make excuses for while putting people like me at risk. We must ensure that hatred does not grow in a world full of airplanes, cell phones, and computer hackers.
Good than you can go and kill all the other government leaders. Start with Iran, then Venezula, then North Korea, then China, then Cuba, then Pakistan, etc., etc. Let me know how that works out for you.
Sarah Palin is the typical NEO-CON who changes policy based solely on platform trends to keep support. Everyone should research Neo-Cons and find out that THEY ARE FROM THE LEFT! NOT CONSERVATIVE! (If using the goofy 2-D political scale)
Right, explaining her unapologetic pro-life position, explaining her locking horns with Republicans in Alaska and the President of Exxon Mobil while she was Governor....she's so good at just going along with what's popular!
You just reinforced my point from many angles! Look...pro-life is NOT conservative! It's REPUBLICAN! That's what I'm saying. CONSERVATIVE is not wanting the Federal Government involved in morality issues! If anything it's solely on each STATE! That's conservative :)
I love Sarah Palin. She's so damned awesome and fair.....and I know National Security is a big deal to her. But it seems it is possible to disagree on certain areas so long as we are promoting candidates who we can have civil discussions with. SO, to all the Ron Paul supporters out there who say she's stupid or a quitter or whatever, you should take note from this. I, as a Palin supporter, will stop making fun of Paul supporters, too. :-)
But it has everything to do with the fact that she's the leader of the Tea Party movement now and how it will be her who elevates them both to higher recognition.
I can see it now....Palin announcing Ron Paul as he running mate in 2012. How will Paulers respond?
I haven't been associated with the "Tea Party" movement since they began spelling it with capitals. In the event that Dr Paul accepts to run as Palin's running mate, I will still support his re-election as representative of the 14th district of Texas.
Well it's a title of a movement, titles should be capitalized unless you are going to a "tea party." I'm sure he would accept her invitation. He's a genius with portions of the Constitution but he is simply unrealistic when it comes to our enemies given their history of bullying and slaughter since hundreds of years before this very nation was founded.
Sarah Palin is the leader of the Tea Party movement? That's a good one. There is no "Leader". That is what makes it so great. It is a multifaceted, hodge podge of people from many DIFFERENT walks of life and beliefs. To say she is the the leader is laughable. Infiltrator might be a better word.
I'm sorry to sound cocky but Paul really isn't in the position to be the one who "accepts" between the two. Palin's got the power and the grassroots enthusiasm now. Egotists will deny that and angrily denounce her for portraying her in the same way liberals do that, but the silent majority out there are behind her.
I'll tell you how they will respond-take Sarah Palin, the neo con GOP and shove it up your ass. Republicans and Democrats are a disgrace, both parties have failed miserably to address the real problems facing this country. Keep throwing your votes away on these reactionary nitwits if you want to, but it's time for people to WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!!
Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich to me are the only two viable choices for President in 2012. No one else in my book can even come close to those two. I don't have to agree with everything each of them are for. I just need to be able to believe in them at an integrity level. Something that Bush, Obama, others and in this case Palin are seriously lacking. Paul considers Kucinich his friend and viceversa. They both have voted TOGETHER against the waste of our estab. govt.
I'm extremely disappointed that Rand Paul is not distancing himself from Palin and the brain dead GOP.Didn't the last election teach anything? The GOP is pathetic, it can only rail against, it has no solutions or positive ideas to put forth....and they spend just like liberal Democrats!!!!! WTF???
They never will. You cannot radically change life as we know it. We can agree on conservative principles but people like you who burst out into a tourette's fit everytime someone says something nice about Sarah Palin are just as guilty of your radical ideology as and San Francisco liberal will be. Palin is the star and there will always be a two party system. The idea is to return Republicans back to a state of conservatism and to an overall country of responsibility.
We don't need "stars"...we need leaders capable of dynamic thinking. The Republican party as it exists now is dead, and further proof of it is the idiotic clinging to this media created empty dress that is Sarah Palin.
We need someone likable and not radical. Someone with supporters who doesn't resemble the third reich whenever someone dissents or calls for a more moderate approcah to reverse the conditioning of Americans. I promise you, with your radical thinking, you can promise your kids and grandkids another century of liberal policy.
Paul does not have executive experience and a proven record of effectiveness as she has. I am sorry but those are the facts.
You think the current system will function for a hundred years? You're dreaming dude. Try 10...tops. Palin is a joke. She delegitimizes any movement she's associated with.
Moreover; your reaction to the words "Democrat" or "Republican" are just as indicitive of someone who's lost their focus as those who solely rely on them to make political choices. Sadly, I get this feeling that you do it to feel smarter when in essence, I seriously don't think you know at all the dynamics of changing the mood of 300 million people who vote. Palin's praised right here by Rand Paul on this video. You can deny it all you want, but sadly, you're going to be left out in the cold.
The Tea Party's main uniform message is 'government is too big'. Since Palin is a virtual unknown for policies she supports, it is hard to know if she is genuine or a globalist pig. Does anyone know if Palin belongs to any UN related groups or Bilderberg?
I find it interesting that Palin's endorsement wasn't big news in main stream media. I haven't seen a single mention of it nor discussion of it on Palin's very own Fox News.
She could really direct a lot of attention to Rand's campaign from Fox News...but not even a mention.
I don't think that is the kind of attention Ron & Rand Paul need or want. They will do just fine on their OWN integrity, honesty, and unwavering message they speak without the help or assistance from Palin. I think she could actually push some people away from them that like the Paul's message and not hers.
I half way agree with that. Which means there is some truth to what you are saying. But radical ideas are radical ideas and you clearly admit a minority. Regardless of what the founding fathers intended, radicalizing the Ron Paul way is no different than radicalizing a Pelosi way. Since FDR, people have been psychologically conditioned to rely on government......(cont'd)
I clearly admit a minority not due to radical ideas but due to the miseducation of the public education system.
We are taught NOT to understand monetary policy; that it's too complex. Ron Paul's ideas are common sense.
RP said to get rid of medicare; allow those already dependent on it to stay on it and allow the younger generation to opt out and spend their lifetime saving for their retirement. That way everyone wins. RP has said this many times. His msg is unwavering.
Look at senior citizens for example. Mention taking away medicare or social security and try and win an election. Even though we know the fiscal mess it is and even though we detest liberal policies, we need commonsense steps like the kind Palin represent to SLOWLY re-introduce conservative ideas so that anything Ron Paul supporters stand for can have a chance at all. In other words, you're probably not going to see it in your lifetime....it will take another 50 years to undo it.
Palin doesn't publicly say what she stands for. She makes no comments on her stance with the Federal Reserve.
She ridicules the current policies but provides no solutions. Ron Paul provides solutions and hasn't changed his stance since 1988. Those are the earliest interviews I could find.
Unlike Paul though, Palin has executive actions to back up. We all can "say" anything we want. In Wasilla, she refused to endorse mandatory garbage pickup in the city where most residents still take their own trash to the dump. The lobbyist for this law happened to be the owner of the garbage truck company. She made an enemy by refusing to force on the people. She slashed property taxes in half. She eliminated business licenses and fees in her town. So based on those ACTIONS, what do you think?
Unlike Palin, Paul has an astounding voting record second to NO ONE. His actions in the legislature show his commitment to the people. His commitment to:
1. The Constitution
2. Sound Money
3. Shrinking Govt
4. Fiscal Responsibility
5. Denying lobbyist money
The list goes on. He did this at the Federal level. I can't give Palin a bye until she shows me through her actions (not words) that she is indeed a true constitutionalist.
Yes, your example is good. Her time in office's limited.
I do want all of her "followers" to see that the Paul's beliefs/philosophies are what can bring the US back to properous times but she deserves no credit for it at all. Ron Paul has never wavered from his message in all the years he has been in Govt. I am sure he has passed this on to his son. I cannot even tell what Palins message is beause it is so obscure and seems to change as she jumps on new popularity wagons weekly. She is as mentally goofy to me as Bush was. Obama is fail also. Grrr
The Palin/Paul thing is as odd as Reagan/Bush was in 1980. Palin will hurt Ron's Presidental campaign in 2011 though, so maybe this is a 'I apologise in advance' favor. Ron Paul 2012!
Maybe you should read about what the New World Order is about. Much more informative than anything Palin's publicist wrote about her to boost her political clout. Palin comes off as a globalist in sheep's clothing and cannot be trusted to keep her word.
We don't need intellectuals. We have one in the White House now. We need real Americans know know the simple difference of right and wrong...we need legislation written where average citizens won't have to hire attorneys to read for them before they know whether or not to support it (when she drafted the new Alaskan energy contracts with the oil companies, she made sure it was written in laymans terms and done with open doors so all citizens were informed). We need a Jane or John Doe.
His vote isn't for sale, he wants term limits, wants to stop the rising debt. Although I don't agree with his assessment of Palin... Either way, he answered all the questions and answered them pretty clearly.. So I don't see how you can say he didn't answer them. Were you even listening? I know the mention of Palin can cause a lot of people to stop paying attention.. :P
It was 2:29, with introduction and conclusion. It is up to the interviewer to come up with specifics.
Besides, the reason MSNBC had him on was their assumption that he would backpedal away from the Palin endorsement. Instead, he had guts, and gave positive thoughts about the Tea Party.
While I don't think Palin is anywhere near Paul ideologically - she does hold political clout.
Palin has never impressed me, but Rand's father Ron is a true patriot. I think Rand is a chip off the old block. Let's help him get elected, give whatever you can to his campaign (money, time, internet support, etc...). If you live in KY help him get the votes he needs in the primary to defeat the "party stooge".
if Palin wanted to endorse Rand Paul, I wish she would endorse Debra Medina instead of Govt Rick Perry for Texas. Medina is a lot more like the Paul's
Why are a couple comments missing from these comment sections? To repost what I said was Rand Paul is a Libertarian acting like he is a Republican. Palin wants the votes from the Tea Party movement so she is supporting the cause for now, don't trust her though as she will run against Ron Paul in 2012.
Rand is a constitutional conservative, but labels are for soup cans. Rand has never been a member of the Libertarian Party, so I disagree with your statements! Libertarian means something different to everyone.
Remember Ron Paul has and Rand always helped his dad campaign. Peter Schiff has already stated that the Libertarian party MUST infiltrate the Republican party to be successful and he is 100% right. A Libertarian is a constitutional conservative who supports civil liberties, so hencefourth, Rand is a Libertarian. This doesn't mean he being a Libertarian is bad thing. Also I hope you didn't remove the comments since the Constitution which you claim to be a fan of supports free speech.
@AFRIKTODAY I agree 100% I don't like how he sounds on the campaign but I will judge him when he takes his seat. Sarah Palin is a nut bag and I wish she would just go away. Funny how she works for Fox News now that holds the establishment republican's water yet so many boneheads still think she is a revolutionary, haha. Palin is supporting McCains re-election as well, I mean talk about a revolution of ideas teabaggers!! I wish Rothbard could be here for all of this madness
I agree with much of what you are saying, but look at it this way: The political landscape has shifted so much that Sarah Palin has to endorse Rand Paul in order to gain credibility. There may be a lot of nuts in the Tea Party crowd but they are far better than the Republicans and they can be taught sound money and maybe even non-interventionism if the economic situation is dire enough.
good points. I don't have as much faith in teaching the public as you do tho. people might like the sound of sound money and taking the ability of the banks and the fed to create money out of thin air but they would be turned off by the reality of the deflationary implosion that would occur. I wish people would elect people to deflate the value of their home or have old people vote for people who would reduce Medicare but I doubt it. Dire economic conditions will just give rise to more demigods
I hope he is just like his dad

RP said to get rid of medicare; allow those already dependent on it to stay on it and allow the younger generation to opt out and spend their lifetime saving for their retirement. That way everyone wins. RP has said this many times. His msg is unwavering.
purplefetus3 2 years ago

Those are the earliest interviews I could find.
purplefetus3 2 years ago
Unlike Paul though, Palin has executive actions to back up. We all can "say" anything we want. In Wasilla, she refused to endorse mandatory garbage pickup in the city where most residents still take their own trash to the dump. The lobbyist for this law happened to be the owner of the garbage truck company. She made an enemy by refusing to force on the people. She slashed property taxes in half. She eliminated business licenses and fees in her town. So based on those ACTIONS, what do you think?
snorp73 2 years ago
Unlike Palin, Paul has an astounding voting record second to NO ONE. His actions in the legislature show his commitment to the people. His commitment to:
1. The Constitution
2. Sound Money
3. Shrinking Govt
4. Fiscal Responsibility
5. Denying lobbyist money
The list goes on. He did this at the Federal level. I can't give Palin a bye until she shows me through her actions (not words) that she is indeed a true constitutionalist.
Yes, your example is good. Her time in office's limited.

I would comment on this "mayor of Wasila" stuff, but it's just too laughable to waste much time on.
pretorious700 2 years ago
Well then you're kind of a fool. You just commented on this "mayor of Wasilla" stuff. You just didn't provide an argument.
Tell me about that intellectual part again?

So true!
Traveler2112 2 years ago
I do want all of her "followers" to see that the Paul's beliefs/philosophies are what can bring the US back to properous times but she deserves no credit for it at all. Ron Paul has never wavered from his message in all the years he has been in Govt. I am sure he has passed this on to his son. I cannot even tell what Palins message is beause it is so obscure and seems to change as she jumps on new popularity wagons weekly. She is as mentally goofy to me as Bush was. Obama is fail also. Grrr
Traveler2112 2 years ago
All you have to do is read her book like the rest of us did. Then confirm the details on any google search.
snorp73 2 years ago
The Palin/Paul thing is as odd as Reagan/Bush was in 1980. Palin will hurt Ron's Presidental campaign in 2011 though, so maybe this is a 'I apologise in advance' favor. Ron Paul 2012!
residentzombie 2 years ago 2
This comment has received too many negative votes show
Palin is a the conservative star. Paul is not.
Curiously, you won't be hearing much anti-Palin stuff coming from him lately.
Wouldn't it just burn Paul supporters if Palin selects HIM as her running mate?
snorp73 2 years ago
That would be a strong ticket.
BorislavX 2 years ago
Maybe you should read about what the New World Order is about. Much more informative than anything Palin's publicist wrote about her to boost her political clout. Palin comes off as a globalist in sheep's clothing and cannot be trusted to keep her word.
residentzombie 2 years ago
LOL you're a nut with that new world order crap.
I can never understand people who say Palin and Bush were these massive plotters -- yet they proclaim they are stupid.
snorp73 2 years ago
No one with a brain thinks that Bush or Palin have the intellectual capacity to be anything but figureheads.
pretorious700 2 years ago
We don't need intellectuals. We have one in the White House now. We need real Americans know know the simple difference of right and wrong...we need legislation written where average citizens won't have to hire attorneys to read for them before they know whether or not to support it (when she drafted the new Alaskan energy contracts with the oil companies, she made sure it was written in laymans terms and done with open doors so all citizens were informed). We need a Jane or John Doe.

Everyone I talk to here in Kentucky loves Rand Paul. More liberty will be force-fed to Washington later this year.
Nonoyawns 2 years ago 9
He didn't really answer the questions.
itubeutude 2 years ago
His vote isn't for sale, he wants term limits, wants to stop the rising debt. Although I don't agree with his assessment of Palin... Either way, he answered all the questions and answered them pretty clearly.. So I don't see how you can say he didn't answer them. Were you even listening? I know the mention of Palin can cause a lot of people to stop paying attention.. :P
RileyE104 2 years ago
He didn't say how he differs from ron...plus other Q's he didn't directly answer.
itubeutude 2 years ago
It was 2:29, with introduction and conclusion. It is up to the interviewer to come up with specifics.
Besides, the reason MSNBC had him on was their assumption that he would backpedal away from the Palin endorsement. Instead, he had guts, and gave positive thoughts about the Tea Party.
While I don't think Palin is anywhere near Paul ideologically - she does hold political clout.
Joem734 2 years ago
Why is Sarah endorsing Rick Perry and not the Tea Party favorite Debra Medina in Texas?
perry911 2 years ago
fuck david shyster
vivalabag 2 years ago
This endorsement says nothing about Rand, but it says a lot about Sarah Palin. She really wants that tea party support.
capitalist4life 2 years ago 3
Palin has never impressed me, but Rand's father Ron is a true patriot. I think Rand is a chip off the old block. Let's help him get elected, give whatever you can to his campaign (money, time, internet support, etc...). If you live in KY help him get the votes he needs in the primary to defeat the "party stooge".
prescottbill 2 years ago 7
I think you mean Rand Paul on MSNBC on 2-3-2010

if Palin wanted to endorse Rand Paul, I wish she would endorse Debra Medina instead of Govt Rick Perry for Texas. Medina is a lot more like the Paul's

DrRonPaul2012 2 years ago 2
Why are a couple comments missing from these comment sections? To repost what I said was Rand Paul is a Libertarian acting like he is a Republican. Palin wants the votes from the Tea Party movement so she is supporting the cause for now, don't trust her though as she will run against Ron Paul in 2012.
residentzombie 2 years ago 3
Rand is a constitutional conservative, but labels are for soup cans. Rand has never been a member of the Libertarian Party, so I disagree with your statements! Libertarian means something different to everyone.
RandPaulsupporter 2 years ago
Remember Ron Paul has and Rand always helped his dad campaign. Peter Schiff has already stated that the Libertarian party MUST infiltrate the Republican party to be successful and he is 100% right. A Libertarian is a constitutional conservative who supports civil liberties, so hencefourth, Rand is a Libertarian. This doesn't mean he being a Libertarian is bad thing. Also I hope you didn't remove the comments since the Constitution which you claim to be a fan of supports free speech.
residentzombie 2 years ago 4
Having Palin endorse Rand is actually BAD! DAMN YOU FUCKTARD PALIN!
joes805 2 years ago
I would disagree, this will bring people that dont know the truth to Rand. It takes baby steps to get people to change their longterm opinion.
zrzr4 2 years ago 3
Also it makes the establishment candidate Grayson look bad.
zrzr4 2 years ago 4
@AFRIKTODAY I agree 100% I don't like how he sounds on the campaign but I will judge him when he takes his seat. Sarah Palin is a nut bag and I wish she would just go away. Funny how she works for Fox News now that holds the establishment republican's water yet so many boneheads still think she is a revolutionary, haha. Palin is supporting McCains re-election as well, I mean talk about a revolution of ideas teabaggers!! I wish Rothbard could be here for all of this madness
soundmoneyfan 2 years ago 2
@ soundmoneyfan yes, but MCcain is supporting Trey Grayson.
zrzr4 2 years ago
and the political world keeps going around and around.
soundmoneyfan 2 years ago
I agree with much of what you are saying, but look at it this way: The political landscape has shifted so much that Sarah Palin has to endorse Rand Paul in order to gain credibility. There may be a lot of nuts in the Tea Party crowd but they are far better than the Republicans and they can be taught sound money and maybe even non-interventionism if the economic situation is dire enough.
vivalabag 2 years ago
good points. Dire economic conditions will just give rise to more demigods
soundmoneyfan 2 years ago
Yeah, she makes me want to vomit. ...but after Rand wins his seat, he won't have to pretend to like her anymore.
