I find this song really interesting cuz the chorus is basically what Christians believe Christmas is all about. We believe that Heaven (Jesus, God's Son) came down for everyone 2000 years ago- to save us from our wicked hearts and open up our hearts to true life with a new "heart" into a relationship with God- if we just give our hearts to Jesus.

Whatever religion K'naan is, what a thoughtful song. And if he is a Muslim, this Christian really appreciates his work.

What is most respectable about K'naan in my mind is how he chose the path of a real heartfelt artist with his music. Growing up where he did, in the middle of a warzone, he could rap about guns and being a gangsta on every song, but he doesnt.
