  • Wes Montgomery tracks were released in 1966 Recorded March 17 – 21, 1966 at Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey from the Album "Tequila" featuring Grady Tate, and Ron Carter, to name a few. The original tune heard in this clip was entitled "Bumpin on Sunset." it was altered to Angel on Sunset, when Larry did the remix with his guitar overlay.

What a GREAT Tribute to Wes.

  • I thought it was "angel on sunset"

  • The electric guitar, the main hook IS Wes Montgomery, Larry plays on top with acoustic and similar sounding Wes sound, check out the inner note on the album, "Fallen Angel" and Larry describes the process.

The original of this is by Wes Montgomery. Brian Auger also had an excellent version. Title is "Bumpin' on Sunset," which Larry Coryell also uses in his album playlist, along with Angel on a Sunset.

Thanks for putting up this version. Really nice.
