Stick to the scatting big boy!, and you don't have to include the take where you screw up the melody, you're allowed to try it again.

You do know that the guy you lightly regard as a "big boy" was crippled by polio and wasn't expected to live past 11 years old, do you?

Plus, people even as great as Chick Corea or Dexter Gordon make slip-ups and leave them in recordings.

That big boy also played with Dexter Gordon, Michael and Randy Brecker, and John Coltrane toward the end of his life. Show some respect.
