I got the Shaw Alphabet Edition of 'Androcles' when it was first published in 1962, and have been using it ever since - even on Facebook! It is very easy for anyone to learn; a child could be taught it in a day or two, and then be able instantly to spell without difficulty. Writing is mainly done on keyboard nowadays. The use of shavian is made simple by the ready availability of fonts for download from the internet. Variation in accents is not a problem in writing any more than it is in speech.
Where did you find these? I have searched near and far for the past several days with no luck! Any help would be appreciated!
