This was filmed on my 13th birthday, I can remember spending much of the month of June (including my birthday) and part of July watching the news day and night while listening for phone calls from relatives in Iowa City to let us know that they had evacuated safely from the floods (thankfully, they all did). For a month, I was so worried that I barely ate and could not turn away from the television.
