With the recorder im using is camtasia studios. Put what ever screen recorder you use there will be option to change your the microphone you use. Usually in settings tab.
Strong recommendation: make title accurate by noting recording is with Camtasia. I thought perhaps you knew how to record with ManyCam (and that disappeared with version 2.6).
How do use the mic it will not record with mic?
