let me just say...Harry Potter is not a movie series. It's a book series that has a movie adaptation. Probably the reason why you thought they had a "downward spiral" after the Goblet of Fire is because that's when the books start getting long and complex and basically IMPOSSIBLE to make into a coherent movie. My point: read the BOOKS. They are infinitely better and I guarantee you'll love them.
