the bowls i have are brass. i worry about the crystal ones though. brass bowls can only get so high. but the crystal ones can keep getting higher and higher and can crack. but id still really like some crystal ones.

I am not close minded at all, I am extremely open minded. My mind is open to the possibility of anything, but being open to an idea and being convinced of an idea are two different things. The ONLY way people should ever be convinced of an idea is if their is evidence to support it.

@KittieDanger If there were double blind studies that could be replicated and they all came to the same conclusion that this treatment does help or cure diseases, I would definitely be convinced. But to put your trust in something that has no evidence to back it up is delusional. To put your trust only in a treatment like this at the expense of proven treatment, is suicidal.

@KittieDanger Actually you are dead wrong. Science is not theory, science is a METHOD that produces theories. You are certainly right that many theories that were thought to correct turned out to be false. However, the only possible way we correct the mistakes that science has made is with MORE science.

I have no idea what you mean by "natural healing", but if anyone is going to claim that making relaxing sounds on crystal bowls can heal people,they are going to have to prove it using science.

Because it seems to me that to recommend a course of treatment to a cancer patient that has no research to back it up, would be a complete waste of time and possibly dangerous /morally reprehensible.

I actually some what agree that the healthcare and pharma industries are too involved regulation. However, the only possible way we are going to discover new treatments for diseases is by rigorous research and studies.
