I think annie is protective of deun 'cause deun is the only one who cares about annie from the heart and doesn't have reasons such as all the others p'rob kiked annie but he only feels guilty due to his brother and 'cause he did not accept annies feelings from when she had fights with p'ton. so duen is the only one who cared about annie more than herself from before annie was dead to after she was dead. :) (also i wish sa would be hit by a truck one of these days in the drama that is)
