X factor Judges and Nicole: I am a fan of Drew. You cant be voting the same person again and again to save from elimination. I can't believe these two female judges vote for Marcus again.

Yeah right. Drew does not have the vocal ability that Melanie has. Obviously, America and Simon thinks that Melanie is the better of the two because she's the winner. Quit hating on Melanie, she's a star and will take her place among the GREATEST female vocalists of all time.
Drew was and is the best act on this entire show and is light years better then melanie amaro and josh. she will be a round a lot longer then melanie amaro.
It all begins with the public votes that place them where they are. If she left the show it is because the votes didn't add up for her. The judges have to vote on the one you as the public like the least. So it isn't the judges fault at all that she left the show. You all just didn't like her enough to keep her. Plus the sing off song wasn't as good as Marcus's song as far as the judges thought, or it would of been Marcus leaving the show. both her and Rachel didn't handle leaving very well.
to be fair the song choices, her voice, would of probably been alright for quite a bulk of the British and Irish audience for as long as she didnt fluff her lyrics.

Ok Simon. I am a guitarist/songwriter who has killer rock n roll songs and I am looking for the right voice to sing them. Why not try something like creating a real rock n roll band. You have all the money and fame you could ever want. So why don't you dig down deeper and discover some talent with some real substance. I have some great songs that could bring some color to these predictable same old same old sing off shows. I need a drummer a bassist and a SINGER. Why am I not being discovered?

It wasn't Drew's fault nor Simon's. Simon got all the best singers in the show, so as soon as the others get the opportunity to get rid of them, they'll do it. One person can't have all the horses in the race, we need to feel like its a competition. That is how Drew can be up against a guy like Marcus, forgettable vocal mess, who has no chance of winning the show or making it after, and lose.
It is Simon's fault. He gave her bad advice that last time. She needed to do an up tempo song and nail it. That sitting on the chair for a whole song with a mini skirt. She was so uncomfortable she looked awkward. She did sound great.

I belive it was Paula who made the final decision, but I could be wrong. Either way, people should stop blaming Nicole, the other judges had a role in it too. Especially if Paula made the final vote. Drew's singing style just isn't what most of America wants to hear. She has a great voice, that much is obvious, it's just that all her music sounds so alike. She'll have a career in the future, if she's not already signed. If Simon wants her back on the show, I can bet she will be.
I loved Drew's voice and personality, but I think she did not give us anything new. I mean, she's amazing and one of the best singers on the show... However, I believe she would've gone home soon or late. I'm not a fan of Marcus either but... It is what it is :/ It isn't anyone's fault, & certainly not Simon's. Oh yeah and abwt her singing the same old thng i kinda agree, i was geting bored too. but I realy liked her Billy Jean performance, i guess it was kinda the same in the way it was slowish/not up beat, but hw she sang the song was diferent to how she has sung in previous performances! She shwed range in her voice, and overall it sounded really gud. But Simon probably should have given her an upbeat song, with dancers etc to please the other judges... he should have expected the crticism he got.

What I dont understand is why Paula didnt give her a chance and bring it to a deadlock, then atleast we would know if it had been America that sent her home and there probably wouldnt have been so much drama about her elimination. I think Marcus did have the lowest number of votes (due to hime being in bottom 2 last week), and for all we know Drew may have only just had a little less votes than one of the other contestants that got through... just my opinion!
AMERICA put Drew in the bottom 3 people! it wasn't any of the judges faults! Simon shud take a little blame yes coz he mentored her and for the sake of keeping her on the show shud have been a little diverse with her. After the show she would have had her whole life to remain 'boring' and stick to her genre... She had it in the bag the first 2/3 weeks. But whem someone does the same thing.. it does become boring per se... tho i love that genre too. I did want something diff from her as a fan.

And Marcus showed us that no matter what song he sings, he's off key and pitchy. Granted, he moves around the stage and shows his entertaining skills, he just can't sing. If anything, the judges should've SPLIT the vote and let the vote totals decide who went home. We know Astro had the fewest votes, and I'll bet Marcus was next.

@djdiu Actually Marcus is the best entertainer on that show....not a soul including melanie can outshine him in performing...he's the only singer up there that actually sings and dances which kind of makes him the best in the competition....Melanie is a great singer but thats all she got...is singing....Chris and Josh do absolutely nothing...most of the real talent has been eliminated and we left with very little talent
@as63401 Marcus was 3 times in the bottom two. On the UK X Factor, if someone is in the bottom two many times, there are not popular with people from that country and they won't win the X Factor. In the US the judges keep him in the competition although it's clear that he is not popular among fans.
We only got to see the results show tonight and I'm shocked...I adore the unique Drew, and even though I've thought from the top 10 the Final should be between Josh and Melanie what gets me is THE MANNER in which she was ousted. Be4 I'm made out to be a "Judge hater", I adore Paula Abdul..but really Paula? You would have saved yourself a lot of flack if you voted for this to go to Deadlock, and trust the voters to decide...No comment on Nicole... who was just lucky to get a talent like Josh...

I respect her and I believe she is a decent human being, however I truly see her vote to oust Drew as biased and not a reflection of the reality. @088dr What you're saying about the contestants not getting to pick their songs isn't necessarily true. A few weeks back, Rachel chose her own song. Drew's attitude was becoming diva-like. She even said in one of her backstage interviews that she was going to sing the way that she wanted to regardless of what the judges had to say. Simon is to blame for letting her get her way and for not teaching her to grow by experimenting with her voice. Stop hating on Nicole and Paula.

@088dr Apparently, you've forgotten that L.A. cast a vote for Drew to go home and the fact that Simon has repeatedly criticized his fellow judges about their opinions. They care about their contestants as much as he does about his own. You don't know Nicole or Paula personally, so, you shouldn't be judging them. From what I've seen of their conduct on the show, it's been a lot more professional and objective than Simon's. If anyone's been rude, it's been him. He's such a bratty child!

not a fan of Nicole as a judge she seems to say things just to disagree with simon. like when drew had that amazing performance of michael jackson and Nicole complained about the damn chair. I thought Drew should have stayed because that performance was so good but she would not have won x factor so it doesn't make a difference really. Although i don't think Marcus has very good vocals, they're on and off sometimes good sometimes bad and i've heard better R&B singers than him.
This is reality!! Things wont always go the way we want them to !!! Drew is talented and has a really good voice !! She should be given a second chance and with her capability, i believe she will do equally well for other genre and style of music. I agree with the majority ... I think Drew was/is an amazingly gifted & unique personality/singer/performer but the reality is that she showed little change in her range from one performance to another ... it was constantly being brought up by all judges & Simon should have allowed that to factor into his direction - the audience is a fickle lover & constantly needs reassurance through variety & attention to their needs.
As a judge it's her responsibility to vote someone out every week, she votes like they're supposed to: based on who they think has more to bring to the competition (unlike Simon who votes out any act that represents a treath to his). I love Drew but she always did the same thing, she probably wouldn't have made it to the finals doing the same every week. If we wanted Drew to stay we should've voted more. Stop blaming Nicole (or Paula) for something that was our responsibility: keeping her in.

It all begins with the public votes that place them where they are. If she left the show it is because the votes didn't add up for her. The judges have to vote on the one you as the public like the least. So it isn't the judges fault at all that she left the show. You all just didn't like her enough to keep her. Plus the sing off song wasn't as good as Marcus's song as far as the judges thought, or it would of been Marcus leaving the show. both her and Rachel didn't handle leaving very well.

One person can't have all the horses in the race, we need to feel like its a competition. I loved Drew's voice and personality, but I think she did not give us anything new. I mean, she's amazing and one of the best singers on the show... What I dont understand is why Paula didnt give her a chance and bring it to a deadlock, then atleast we would know if it had been America that sent her home and there probably wouldnt have been so much drama about her elimination. I think Marcus did have the lowest number of votes (due to hime being in bottom 2 last week), and for all we know Drew may have only just had a little less votes than one of the other contestants that got through... just my opinion!

We only got to see the results show tonight and I'm shocked...I adore the unique Drew, and even though I've thought from the top 10 the Final should be between Josh and Melanie what gets me is THE MANNER in which she was ousted. I was under the impression that the contestants didnt actually get to pick the songs just express their opinion on what they want...so how is it drews fault. She didnt even get to pick if she wanted to sit on a chair. Nicole ane Paula were standing and clapping before marcus even sang...stupid women didnt even let Drew stand a chance

@088dr What you're saying about the contestants not getting to pick their songs isn't necessarily true. A few weeks back, Rachel chose her own song. Drew's attitude was becoming diva-like. She even said in one of her backstage interviews that she was going to sing the way that she wanted to regardless of what the judges had to say. Simon is to blame for letting her get her way and for not teaching her to grow by experimenting with her voice. Stop hating on Nicole and Paula.

@Arianeysa1 I will concede to the fact that Paula seems like a nice women and brings something to the show. Nicole however..not a chance. After her "That was bananas" feedback I don't think she deserves to being casting judgement on anybody. She is a full fledged moron and a fake. I stick by the fact that it was unprofessional and just rude to give Marcus a standing ovation PRIOR to his performance thus showing their clear bias.

@088dr Apparently, you've forgotten that L.A. cast a vote for Drew to go home and the fact that Simon has repeatedly criticized his fellow judges about their opinions. They care about their contestants as much as he does about his own. You don't know Nicole or Paula personally, so, you shouldn't be judging them. From what I've seen of their conduct on the show, it's been a lot more professional and objective than Simon's. If anyone's been rude, it's been him. He's such a bratty child!

not a fan of Nicole as a judge she seems to say things just to disagree with simon. like when drew had that amazing performance of michael jackson and Nicole complained about the damn chair. I thought Drew should have stayed because that performance was so good but she would not have won x factor so it doesn't make a difference really. Although i don't think Marcus has very good vocals, they're on and off sometimes good sometimes bad and i've heard better R&B singers than him.

She should be given a second chance and with her capability, i believe she will do equally well for other genre and style of music. I agree with the majority ... I think Drew was/is an amazingly gifted & unique personality/singer/performer but the reality is that she showed little change in her range from one performance to another ... it was constantly being brought up by all judges & Simon should have allowed that to factor into his direction - the audience is a fickle lover & constantly needs reassurance through variety & attention to their needs.

As a judge it's her responsibility to vote someone out every week, she votes like they're supposed to: based on who they think has more to bring to the competition (unlike Simon who votes out any act that represents a treath to his). I love Drew but she always did the same thing, she probably wouldn't have made it to the finals doing the same every week. If we wanted Drew to stay we should've voted more. Stop blaming Nicole (or Paula) for something that was our responsibility: keeping her in.

It's NOT Nicole's fault that Drew landed on the bottom, IT'S OURS! If we had voted more she wouldn't have been at risk of leaving in the first place. I mean look at Nicole, does she look happy about it? NO! Why? Because she knows what it's like to get denied, she knows how Drew is feeling right now because she went through the same, years ago. Arguing with a person without considering where they are from and what language they speak is probably not a good thing for a graduate student to be proud of.
