Great song but found the video didn’t really reflect the lyric's contents. The lyrics are very sad yet everyone in the video was happy. Maybe images of you walking past people in pain (or sad situations) and you looking sad when singing might convey the message in the lyrics better. However understand this is very subjective

Beautiful music. Seeing the dog in this video I think about animals living in abusive situations and shelters. Not that there aren't plenty of humans in awful situations, but many of them can decide not to be victims, they can fight or they can walk away. Animals don't have that luxury. It always amazes me that even after appalling abuse, most times rescued dogs and cats can trust a human again. I know this first hand.
