I visited Erimo-Misaki some 40 years ago. It was very windy. I liked the place as well as all the Hokkaido.

I spent 2 years in Hokkaido people are very nice air is clean Ramen noodle, BBQ party...

I want to visit Hokkaido again.

We in Ottawa, Canada, alredy has snow on the ground and I am "winterizing" my car tomorrow, ie, put on snow tires, get an oil change, put in new anti-freeze, etc. I have also checked to make sure the snow thrower actual can start.

The worst weather condition in Canada is freezing rain, when cars easily bang into each other.

Sure, I like to visit Japan to enjoy Udon, Sushi and Karaoke (bear with my singing of Miss Teng's top hits).

You are right! Erimo Misaki is a cape in eastern Hokkaido. There are some information about Erimo cape, as follows:

襟裳岬是北海道東部一塊伸向太平洋的海岬，被稱爲北海道的背脊的­日高山脈，長達 150 公里，向南穿過中央部，它的尖端形成長度爲 60 米以上的海蝕崖。山脈形成岩礁，斷斷續續延伸到海灣數公里遠的洋­面上，海浪翻滾，閃閃發亮，氣勢雄偉，構成了一幅充滿律動的景觀­。這裏是寒流與暖流的合流點，容易出現海霧，整個海岬被指定爲日­高山脈襟裳國定公園。

這裏是日本風力最強的地帶，一年中有 290 天刮起風速超過 10米的大風，因此無法開耕出田地，樹也長不高。“襟裳岬風之館­”是以這種大風爲主題的博物館，其中有顯示世界氣象的監視設備和­讓人體驗 25 米風速的設施等。

though i don't understand the lyrics but it just reminds me in the end of seventy's and early eighty's, how we felt about the sun shine of our daily life, how we tasted the sweetness of a perfect cake, how we felt the satisfaction when we surrounded by our loved ones, family and friends.....the unique,, natural, shoothing voice of hers brought me back to my good memories. 邓丽君，Tersa, Teng, she lives with us for ever!
