@stottspage I don't think they all needed to sing to get his vocal range; they all seemed to have similar range. I do agree that Thom Yorke is the shit though.
Siman is my next door neighbour, his wife Fiona and the boys are just wonderful people. He is a great neighbour. I've seen his ARIA on the bookshelf, it's amazing!
Tripod are both amazingly skilled and amazingly psychotic. It's so fitting they kept appearing on "Sideshow" because they remind me so much of DAAS (albeit cleaner).
That's soooo freaking awesome! @BelgianGurista... I agree, you missed the point. And how could you possibly think that "voicing" a song is not hard! Are you freaking kidding me!!! A 3-part as complicated as that is incredible to pull off let alone figure out. These guys are simply amazing together.

@oztish For all you Radiohead fans, it's good noone can cover them. Point proven again. Ok, voicing a song aint all that hard, and btw he plays all the chords wrong except for the 4 chords he does play right. (counted) So, this was utter crap. I don't even wanna watch Fake Plastic Trees. Radiohead fans watch MikeMassedotcom (that's his username on youtube) if you wanna hear a good Radiohead cover. kthx.
@BelgianGurista Im a Radiohead fan,a Tripod fan and also oddly enough a fellow subscriber to Jeff and Mike and the eternal Pizza Bar gig.
They do a pretty good cover of a lot of stuff, and I'm a big fan of practically any and every cover as long as it adds something new to the mix.
Tripod did that here, and even with clearly superior musical training and experience, the Pizza shop duo just don't manage it most times. If you are trying to sound like the original, you fail before the first note.
I remember the first time I saw them do this live at the Hi Fi bar in Melbourne. At first people started laughing, and then everyone sat there stunned as they did it utterly perfectly. Very talented lads.
happiness is a warm gun is a good cure to naivety, actually the whole of the white album is awesome. just my opinion though :) I think it's time to stop my beatle-promotion before I make everyone sick haha
yes I am the same as you, huge beatles and radiohead fan (but more so beatles) Thom said he was inspired by the unstructuredness of happiness is a warm gun, as in all the parts are different to each other, and wrote paranoid android. They sound nothing alike, only in terms of structure is all :P
It's a full cover of Radiohead's song Paranoid Android, quite simple as the title implies. Very fun to see how all the sounds of the song are imitated. And yes, the original song is that long and constantly changing indeed.
