@ MexicanoNC I've been following Al since he was solo playing the accordian. He is still the uber parody Jedi par-none. Not only is he parodying songs that are being over played, But more importantly they're attuned to current events and what's happening at the time they're being played creating "musical time capsules."

Weird Al has lost it. He just isn't as good as he used to be. There are plenty of songs that just aren't worth listening to on Alpocalypse. And his music videos used to be classics but most of his recent videos are just lazy cheaply put together. I've always rather buy the album in a store but I guess I'll just download Perform This Way and Polka Face off of iTunes. The rest aren't even worth my time. I'm sorry Al, I still love you, but make you're next album a classic.

@THEGREATMAX Weird Al usually makes bad pop songs better. I don't like "I Want a New Drug" but I love "I Want a New Duck." He isn't just as good as he used to be.

And the fact that much of todays pop music is hip hop isn't what makes it bad. Today's pop music is bad because we have lazy artists who care more about making quick money off of singles instead of creating a classic record. Rap is not inherently bad. Look up Blackalicious, Public Enemy, Kany West, a Tribe Called Quest for good rap.
