  • stock exhaust?

  • @cgunter38 no its a custom 3 inch exhaust with vibrant muffler.

  • @skobeats yeah you gotta pay to play. Good luck on your build man.

  • Im working on that same set up but I'm using an H23a VTEC blue top...

Regardless what ppl say it takes a lot of money to do a quality job... Or u can use cheap eBay parts for 6 months max, lol...

  • How did you go about breaking in your motor?

  • @jdm4life89 I actually wasnt at the shop when it was broken it. They told me they broke it in on the dyno.

  • @ crazyinsane135 its a garret gt35

  • What turbo do you have?

  • nice lude but i think u should lower it sum more (if it's not already lowered)

  • @VietTECjuskickedinYO thanks man. Yeah its lowered some but I wanna go more. Unfortunately its already to close to the ground.

  • @VietTECjuskickedinYO thanks man. Yeah its lowered some but I wanna go more. Unfortunately its already to close to the ground.

  • @2kboi thanks man. Appreciate it.

  • I just added up most of parts alone I'm way OVER 3500.

  • Dude don't even waste ur time defending yourself obviously he doesnt know what he is talking about. 3500 is not a lot to do full builds

  • @jdm4life89 yeah I know man. Some people just dont get it.

  • ummm civic???...

  • U do realize the fastest street legal prelude has over 100 grand invested and it runs 9's. Build your car with 3500 and see how long it lasts. Btw my entire build was 17k not just performance parts. You need to look up prices before you start hating

  • 17k, yea you got ripped off, this car should be running 9's for 17k

  • @TIM00STER

I paid more for quality but any build going to cost alot of money. If you say it doesnt then you obviously are a moron.

  • @bizaar92lude lol dude, quality or not, 17,000 dollars should get you more than 416whp.. unless of course you paid for all the labor which can get expensive, other wise, it doesnt make much sense

  • Thats not an H23??..... Thats an F22

  • @Swiftstar2 ummmm yes it is. lmao

  • Hey man I just got a 95 prelude si (h23a) and I want to boost it do you know any websites that have parts for the h23? Were did you go for your parts? @bizaar92lude

  • @Polaks4 most of my parts are custom made. But treadstoneperformance has a bolt on kit you may be interested in.

  • How much did this cost you in performance parts you think?

  • @TIM00STER I'd say around $3500 in parts. That's not including labor. 17 psi means it has some head work.

  • Beautiful car man!

  • where did u get the radiator

  • love the car man

  • Nice. No neons, big rims, fart can or chrome tailights. Very tastefully done. This is exactly how I want to do my 3G

  • What did u do for your oil cooler did you reuse or replace it with a new one. Like always very nice!

  • sleeper

  • Does your car overheat, My car keeps overheating after taking it back from the shop! Dont know what it is.

  • hey bro i got the same thing even the cold air... what did you do so that you have no fear of the intake soaking in water if you hit a puddle.... thats my faer and idk how i can save my self incase it should get a gulp of water?

  • Vtec didn't kick in yo but the turbo did!

  • Sup? Nice lude!! I have an H23A swap. Trying to figure out what route to go? Did u ever run the vehicle on stock block with turbo kit? If so how was it? Did it hold up long? Also, how much was ya engine build? Not trying to really race much, just wanna pull it out during winter months to feel a quick pull and hear the BOV!! LOL!! I have a 93 GMC Typhoon, so that 's my real beast!! Pls inform. Thx.

  • CLEAN!!!

  • What radiator is that?? Is that for a Civic?? Was it necessary in order to fit the turbo? Thinkin about boosting my H23...

  • Awesome man

  • Still running good?

  • no fart can. nice, nicely done

  • @ElegyXD thanks man. Yeah I hate the look of a fart can. I absolutely love this vibrant muffler.

  • Is the back of ur bumper cut out?

  • nice car man keep up the good work :) can you pm with some good engine mods i should do to my car is have a 92 si but i want to get aleast 300 whp out of it ; ) thats all

  • @MrPulseGaming Im assuming your staying with D16.I would sleeve your block forged pistons and rods keep stock crank maybe add a girdle(maybe)apc head studs and cometic gasket.Head can be stock including porting u can make big numbers on stock H heads, edelbrock victor x mani, stock throttle body(your forcing air through it u wont see a "big"increase with a large t.b on a turbo car might as well save money.)toda belt and vibrant tensionars woulld be good insurance....

  • @MrPulseGaming .....oil/water pumps can be stock,a moroso oil pan would be a nice addistion bit I wouldnt call it needed.Lastly a full race kit(ramhorn) with GT35R turbo and some injector dynamics 1000ccs with aem fuel rail and fpr a wahlbro fuel pump and a 044 inline if you plan to push past 20psi of boost also I would reccomend an aem meth/water kit for the insurance and added power well worth the investment.

  • @MrPulseGaming ....You wont need more than that for a street car I doubt you'll find traction. Ive never seen this setup dyno'd but I would expect around 500whp from it(on about 20psi with 3:! meth to water ratio).

  • @MrPulseGaming Oh and lastly tune it on a hondata or aem ems

  • it's a precision intercooler. 31.5 x 8 x 3.5

  • Hey bro what r ur dimension of ur intercooler?

  • what do u have for a front motormount?

  • @bmxjosh25

its a torque dampener attached to the traction bar

  • @INTEGRA1180

yeah the stock motor was great. I had a drag gen 3 kit before. I made 258hp and 262 tq. It was really reliable. I made a 13.6 pass in the 1/4 mile with it on street tires then too.

  • Dam bro 17g's WTF do you do 4 a living?

  • @h23a1boostn

ha ha im single. Makes a big difference when spending money on my car lol

  • @bizaar92lude

I'm single too, and had the snip snip to make sure I don't have kids! but theres no way I could gather up 17gs for my 92 si. You get you masters degree or what?

  • @h23a1boostn

no i work in a metal roofing manufacturing plant. never heard it called "the snip snip " before. lol

  • how much did you spend ...man .. i wanted to turbo my 4th gen too..

  • @smackdownbb4

    17k on parts and labor.

  • it put down 352 torque. Yeah I heard about the cams too but they were recommended so I went with them.

  • how much torque are you pushing and cams is not good for an h23 i mean it already has low compression your getting more power without the cams

  • how much torque are you pushing and cams is not good for an h23 i mean it already has low compression your getting more power without the cams

  • nice did you re sleeve the engine or just use a cheap ass sandwitch plate

  • @rs200000000000

its been resleeved with darton sleeves

  • @bizaar92lude proper job cool.

  • hey did u upgrade ur oil pump???

  • @jdm4life89

I just replaced it with a new oem one.

  • @jdm4life89 did u take out ur balnce shafts??? i ask cuz i was goin to use a kms high flow oil pump but if its not needed. im just wanna b cautious due the fact h23 always spin bearings due to lack of oil flow

  • @jdm4life89

yeah they are deleted. Well if I had it to over I may have went with a better one after u stating this. I honestly just replaced it. I actually wasnt expecting to go with this much power at the initial build.

  • mmhmm thanks for your help

  • forreal! idk why so many ppl hate on it lol

  • @yungns21

    me either.

  • thats no bad for that engine! :)

  • @yungns21

thanks man. I think the h23 has great potential

  • Brooo, i wanna do that to mine! lol

how much money did it cost for the whole thing?

  • @yungns21

for everything including labor, it came to 17,000.

  • brooo clean ass lude!!

if you dont mind me askin, whats your setup?

i just got a 92 lude and everyone i go to for advice on boosting says i cant do it and that i have to swap it for a h22. and seeing yours now is just proof i dont have to! thanks in advance!

  • @yungns21

thanks man, I really love this motor. NIce to see someone interested in givin it some love. I got a built block and head GT35r turbo, hondata s300, and full 3in exhaust.

  • nice prelude you have a way bigger turbo than mine i like how you didn't cut the front bumper grill i wish i hadn't cut mine i like the exhaut manifold too .

  • @jprelude92

thanks man the manifold won my heart as well.

  • @INTEGRA1180

yeah dude i ran a drag gen 3 kit until i snapped the timing belt while driving. I put down 262tq and 258hp on 8psi.

  • Hello friend! I have an H23 prelude like your ... I wonder if these engines H23 has the same equal potential of the H22 ... why am I to change my prelude just because of the H22 ... Thanks! you got MSN? I can go to get some doubts! Thanks again!

  • @SeigoKan definately not.... I have a jdm h22a they are way more powerful jdm h22a 197 crank, and h23a 160 crank... The h22a also has waaaay higher compression... H23's are better for turbo because they are lower compression.. Im about to go look at a prelude tomorrow but some girl owned it... So i dunno if it had a f22 or h23 im crossing my fingers and praying its a h23 cause im about to get that for about 800 dollars build it and turbo =p!!!!

  • @flipstrt its a c&r radiator. I have had no heating issues at all. Last week I drove the car 6 hrs straight without stopping and it didnt even heat up. it was used on a 92-95 hatch before I bought it.

  • carillo rods

  • what kind of rods did u use

  • 1000cc

  • wat size injectors r u runnin

  • It's tuned with Hondata s300.

  • cp pistons, carillo rods, supertech valve train, crower stage 2 cams, port and polished head, 3 angle valve job, and balance shafts removed.

  • nice similar setup im goin with wat r u tuned with

  • wat kind of internals do u have done if u dont mind me askin?

  • Thanks alot, I started off with a t3/t4 running 8psi. I put down 260 hp. Was a fun setup for sure. Good luck with your setup man.

  • im going for boost with my h23 this summer, im going to run it at 7psi(Stock motor), with crower stage 1 cams. Hopfuly that will give me a decent power increase. Good job again man, i stil keep coming back to watch this video =)

  • Hey dude you wont regret it. I love the H23 boosted.

  • o cuz i have a 92 prelude and ur bumper looked stretched where the fmic is. i dunno but very sick lookin major props. im actually boostin an h23 also.

  • Thanks man for the complement. It is a stock bumper with emblem shaved and black signal's. I dunno maybe that is what give it a different look.

  • very very clean bro is that a stock front bumper it looks a little different to me or maybe thats just me.

  • Southern West Virigina

  • dammm clean ass prelude were you from

  • Will be takin some of those as soon as the snow goes away. Thanks.

  • Very clean lude. Acceleration vids?

  • thanks man, appreciate the good feedback.
