I NEED HELP!! I created the new mesh for the first time in Milkshape. When I tried to reload the my new hairstyle to Body Shop, I see absolutely no hair on the model. What can I do to prevent full transparencies on my hair meshes from showing on Body Shop?

The tutorial is great! However, which version of simPE and Milkshape do you use? Because when I get to opening the project in milkshape it says : ERR invalid file type selected :/ Any ideas how I could solve that? Cause it will only accept .objx files... THANKS FOR HELP! <3

I think that I need the extracting tool because I need a .skn file to actually go into milkshape's meshing program...

And all I have is a pile of files that aren't what I need..

I hate how people have given up on the sims 2! D:|<

The sims 3 is such a harder engine to work with anyways, besides the sims 3 sims are hideous!

Don't even get me started on basegame Sims 3 Medieval... YUCK!

@SteffiMess I feel the same way. You don't go about abandoning great games just because new ones come out. take oblivion and morrowind for example, the community is still very much alive!

1. Is it free? - Yes, all programs ARE free, but Milkshape requires an activation code. If you ask somebody, they may be kind enough to let you use theres :)

quys, it looks complicated because you dont have the stuff you need for this. Which is exactly why you have to download the thinqs he tells you to at the beqininq, than you can start meshinq

can you mesh in sims3? i also have sims2 with every expansion packs in their original boxes and will be registered to me when i goto install them. i bought them all from a place going out of business and got them very cheap if i bought the complete package. they are still sealed and have not been used yet. i am making a windows comp so i can use all the sims stuff. right now i run linux mint 8 on an older computer until i get new one made.

Somebody please help Me!! Omg Im soo frustrated and I've been trying step 10 for HOURS but nothins working!!! I clicked on vertex on the side and selected the bottom row of the dressed, went to move, and followed step 11! But It didnt get longer. AT ALL! I would really appreciate if somebody helped me, because Im about to blow up If i cant make the dress longer soon!

feels like i got some craked verision of simpe cause the object workshop dosent work

@Geoff109 It doesen't work like that. The "Black and white" bit is the alpha and its a border to colour: Make it longer and you'll colour in the legs xDDD

yes, you need to pay to the full version of Milkshape legally.

But there is a website somewhere with a keygen that LOADS of animators use

Could somebody help me? I think this is a great tutorial, but for some reason, it doesn't work to my mesh!

I tried to make a ball-dress for a child. I followed every step and everything went fine. In simPE I got a preview of the dress and it was all okay. But when I saved and opened Body Shop, the "ball-dress" still had his very first shape!

What have I done wrong? I don't have a clue!
