  • After looking through many custom built liquid cooling pics on various forums, I have to say that this PC is my favourite. It shows a great deal of creative innovation and talent regarding recycling and reuse. What a work of art. I love the fact that you have taken older hardware and breathed new life into it in such an original fashion. Well done, and may others follow your style instead of spending loads of cash on boring, over-priced, factory manufactured crap.

  • WLeon55677<- He's just jelous, probably has a dell inspiron.

  • that really looks very junky having all of the mess askew all over your room

  • that looks almost steampunk

  • Beautiful piece of functional artwork! KUDOS to you, for the use of the automotive and small engine flywheels, the differential ring gear, the trans gears etc.. Any true mechanic/techie would be proud to own one of these!

  • i wanted to go to the juckyard do they let you just go in and what junkyard are the computer at

  • can u build one for me?

  • @Cr0z2010

Everything is art; everything has the potential to become art. This computer not only serves as art, but the way it's set up means hot air wont be trapped inside of a case. You wont need to worry too much about it over-heating in the summer, and there's less places for dust to collect. This also makes RAM, processor, and graphics card upgrades easier. It's not only for art- The only thing you lose by doing this is the practical ability to take it with you.

    P.S It's really awesome!

  • @Cr0z2010

They like "This stuff" because it's creative, and it shows that computers can become odd, and awesome pieces of art, and creativity as well. I think this computer is- And pardon my French- Fucking badass. ^_^

  • Nice sound :F

    But free is free.

  • Thats a really COOL mod dude :D

  • wow... that's loud...

  • this is way better men i love junk mod hahahaha sweet 3 way

  • how did you like that mcw30? I don't have one of the $500-$600 mobo's so there isn't a company that makes a nb/sb water block for my mobo, it's only $25 so I was thinking about picking one up, I only have my cpu being water cooled right now. not sure if I need it but it would be nice to put the mcw30 in for appearance values. haaha

  • man that rig is awsome it looks like it came from a video game

  • This a great machine, my hats off to you.

  • the hard drives should be kept level to the ground because the platters inside could get scratched if you bump the table and its less strain and make the drives last longer

  • Nice monitor, I have the same one (Sceptre 22")

  • I do serious modding... and i really like what youve done, its creative and to the point... I love it.... i would recommend maybe rusting your gears with a rust kit... its iron base paint with an activator... the activator rust the iron in the paint.. insta rust... would look sweet with what you have going there.

  • 200 bucks on a water cooling system running a Pentium D? Where is your head at? You could have built a whole new PC with 200 bucks :D

    Pentium D 930/935 FTW! :D

  • ^^^another meaning of "sick building syndrom"

  • i salute u for having way to much time and creativity gud job

  • Man I did that once! Stupid water pumps are not silent!!! Or at least mine was not... Though it sure was fun to set up and mess around with!

  • i am working on a costum computer this is the best on so far

  • Hey you can sell that for a shit load of money... half pc half art... just make sure water dont leak... i build custom pcs for friends but thats going way out wich is pretty cool.

  • hey man nice way to rig stuff up like that! i do stuff like this all the time! but umm one question, have you ever experienced radio or microwave (same as radio but you dont always remeber) interference due to the lack of shielding (i.e. case)?

  • because i do alot of experiments and such with high voltage and whatnot, and i remember i fried my good ol' buckling spring keyboard (idk why only THAT fried..) when i had it hooked to my 386 board. As long as you dont live next door to me, you probably wont have to worry about this happening but i would like to know if this type of thing has ever happened to you.

    -thanks

  • Wow man thts kl! thts what i like to see thts what moddin is all about being yourself origanal and doin what u like! =)

  • What's your PSU man?!

  • awsome powerd by a bucket.

  • Wow thats awesome man 5/5*

  • Ummmmm... Thats cool

  • lol a pent d xD and 2 8600gt LOL :P nice i guess, cool idea

  • OMG its just liek hunny i shrunk the kids but in computer style :D nice comp but alot of wires lol nice way to improvise

  • How about encasing the guts with a clear, 2pc. globe. You could cover the seam with something like a thin strip of flexible brass and still be able to show off and cut down on the noise.

  • Dust magnet, but an awesome design.

  • impressive !an original ideia

  • Great work but as dockillroy said you should put a covering incase of insects and all biting cabes so yeh

  • Pretty unique.

  • 3:32 hahaha haha!

  • hmmm.. i like it, but might want to put a clear plastic cover or somthing over it.

  • Lol looks realy funny :D

    Great work man

  • Should see mine with an ancient decade old steel case that has thicker metal than most cars! Plus with a dozen fans 1/2 kilo heatsink on the NB in order just get my retro e6400 to get just to 2630mhz on old p5nsli plus a cheap heatsink for the cpu with as5. Get 20 to 30c isn't bad.

  • Hope you don't get earthquakes where you live xD

  • Well thats one way to increase airflow

  • very innovative!!! two thumps up

  • Whats up with the rabbit in the coolant bucket? lol maybe not, but it looked like one for a second!

  • very creative 2 tumbs up

  • i was wondering if you can use antifreeze as a coolant instead of other stuff. sweet rig man, it looks menacing.

  • I'm sorry that I lashed out on you. I was having a really bad day at work. You just happened to comment on my video. I am a wanna be gangsta, I should have understood that it was a good hood joke. In reading my reply again, that shit was harsh, my bad. I tainted the good nature of my comment thread, may the youtube gods forgive me.

Good luck modding your case, and remember; Keep your powder dry...

  • Eat shit, what do you have? a Chi Ming case with some 120mm fans on it? When I get home I am gonna post a video of what it looks like now...

...BTW, thats not a VESA I used wood screws through the LCD, puts a little lump in a couple of places on the screen; but its all good....

  • its cool that its in front of the window too, if i were walking by that house i would think theres a mad scientist living in it! awesome job!

  • i agree with EarDestroyer which said "wow not something i would buy but that belongs at a art museum man thats brilliant", but my comment is just :O

  • man that is beautiful

  • wow not something i would buy but that belongs at a art museum man thats brilliant

  • looks like a computer that would be from half life2 lOl

  • That is one cool piece of art-technology!

  • nice coz i was wondering if a bucket of water rely would do the job and it dose so thanks for putting ur pc on the line.

my pc is going to look a bit odd with a nice tubine case and a big bucket of water next to it

  • holy shit, so nice man.

  • awsome thougth

  • its very load, but awesome

  • loud? yes, that would be a pump pumping its little guts out. my pump failed about 12hours after this was shot.

  • yes loud, and it looks like a torture device too, awesome job, very very creative, two thumbs up

  • see. "Auto-Decapitator".

  • sucktin dickhead

  • cool but al liitle big

  • Who Cares :D

  • AMAZING !!!!

  • Windows XP does recognise it, it's the fact that your OS is only 32bit, Windows XP 64bit or any 64bit OS recognises more than 4GB of ram. XP 64bit does 128GB =)

  • actually SP2 XP 32 bit will recognize 4 Gb, there is a swtich in the boot.ini file. I solved all of my microsoft problems tho. I use UBUNTU!

  • Looks very inventive. Nice one!!!

  • Very nice, fool. :)

  • your PSU needs to be changed or lubricated...it makes a whole lotta noise! i had the same problem and eventually it shorted out...it took my motherboard with it! T_T a sad day indeed...had to survive 3 weeks without a pc

(if i'm wrong about the source of the noise please tell me)

  • Ahhhh, You are incorrect my dear Watson.

The power supply is brand new, in fact, it is up to be modified to be Mineral Oil Cooled. What you are hearing clattering, or sounding like its about to meet the end of its lifecycle is the submerged pump. Now, the submerged pump did die that day tho.

  • a ok my bad :D

  • wowza. The A.J. mainframe. you're like a mad scientist or somethin.

  • damn. this has to be pc modding to the max!

  • it might end up on ebay! so keep an eye out and you might own this 400lb monster

  • 400 lbs?! i can't get that upstairs! lol

  • And Why might it end up on Ebay?

  • beacuse this one is about to become scrap when the new one is done.
