I have to kill a blood dragon for one of my misc bounty quests and it has the fly backwords glitch... It's a pain trying to kill it. It trys so hard to avoid me... The only time I can actually hit it is when it gets stuck in a mountain.

Patch 1.3 came out two days ago, I think, it fixed this bug and literally doubles frame rate on Dual Core systems, but I use a Quad Core.

I've only had this happen once, it's with the dragon at Bonestrewn. He'll fly around and never land, I'll wittle his health all the way down, but he doesn't die. When he loses all his health, he just flies erratically and teleports away.

this is strange but after i kill a dragon that alduin was about to ressurect (i had hit him when he is in the skeleton form) and then i fast travel to whiterun and the dead dragon FT with me WTF!!!!!, but no, this isn't the strange part...when i'm goes to where i killed that dragon, he was there (no, it's the same dragon because he has a name, not the common title like blood dragon) well he was there, and he is immortal...nothing kill him, and it's in my save, even restart the system don't work

I encountered this and I managed to defeat the dragon by shooting enchanted arrows, but after I "killed" it, it wouldn't land and die. It just kept flying and then flew straight up into the sky and disappeared in the clouds

Anyone having a problem with this annoying glitch (especially for console users) and cant wait for the patch, I figured out how to "fix" it, since they said there was no known fix- All you do is play the game, go on quests, forget about it - after awhile the dragon will reset. Waiting 24 hrs does not work, I am not sure exactly how long, but just forget about it and through about a days worth of playing it should reset.

I can't say I'm particularly surprised something like this could happen. The architecture, while great for being able to do all sorts of things, is also prone to big bugs from small changes.

Personally I do want them to add a dragon that's supposed to fly backwards, so we can enjoy the fun after the patch! :D Just have the villagers say stuff like "Firebelly really should move his cave from the skooma processing plant's clouds." "It's just not right for a dragon to fly backwards like that."

I HAVE SOMETHING THAT MAY HELP YOU FIX THIS: Befre you start fighting the dragon, save the game (you may have to reload it quite a few times). Now, start fighting (do as you can to fight it) and keep following it until it gets crazy and flies away as fast as lightning. Once he's gone, go to a more or less clear area, and then wait. Keep waiting until the dragon comes back, and then luckily, when he comes back this time, he'll be "fixed". It worked for me, though he landed near a giant camp LOL
