i need help-when you say your dogs name the timer thingy turns like orange then goes away....mine just stays there....what do i do?!

omg my dog is so stupid it keeps showing the orange question mark ? it took two months then i shut it down and know its been two years and i turned it on ! and its still stupid!!! can some one help me !!
