does it matter if it is his voice or not? it doesnt...i suppose ,it can be his voice or any other voice as long as it gets to u,thats all that matters. a highly eloquent person may speak of god or u may hear a rag-picker on the street singing about god, if u "get" it then the voice's job is done.

Sorry to disappoint you..but its not Swamiji's voice. I have been to Belur Math established by swamiji near dakkhineshwar where they denied that its his voice. Even if not..I am sure, he had the command. We can get the feel just by reading his books.
Swamiji has inspirated and still inspires hundreds and hundreds of hindu with the true meaning of religion ... i feel an unexplainable pride listening to this great man ...

Nothing has been detailed about what needs to be done to remember your past lives, in this piece.
Swamiji just says struggle to get it. The struggle is a methodological approach like meditation, yoga etc.

Remember, this was a guy who kinda knew it all as a Hindu and experienced quite a lot since he was a perfect Hindu.
It will be difficult but not impossible.
You can try regression therapy, I hear that using this (a kind of hypnotism) you can remember your childhood and before your childhood (past life).
