this is the one i have, and a friend of mine has the 414, the 414 seems slightly better quality, and more eye-pleasing, but the 604 has more bass. i would not recommend these speakers too much because they don't pick up low frequencies, if you go past 3 dots with full bass, the quality is terrible, but i hooked the dock up to my bedroom tv, and its way better than the stock speakers, but unless you need your zune charged, go ahead and buy computer speakers.
I own this system, and it's amazing. I also like to connect my laptop to it. The video out feature works very well. The bass gets very deep, and the two tweeters let the sound get very high.
