@srikrishnajay,why do you always talk about what the Spaniards had done.All human beings are guilty of criminal acts of murder,rape and pillage.The only difference is that the Europeans did it in a large scale.Even the native Empires had slaves to create those pyrimids.

@srikrishnajay,Not invasion but conquering because there's a difference between conquering and invasion. Invasion is when you come into other to attack the other person living in that territory and not win any land. But conquer is when you come into that territory and win that land.

Watching it now; so Spain/Europe were evil and all the bloody empires of South America are victems? All the wars and slavery before Europe ever arrived not even mentioned. Well, at least we on theme with PBS. They should rename this show, "White people are evil"... jerks.

@SinnFein4ever The biggest mission is located Santa Barbara Mission here in the United States, but the Hispanic priest and Hispanic soldiers enslaved Native peoples all over North and South America.
