Mulan isn't really a princess. Why she's even classified as a princess, I'll never know, but I think they should establish a new group called Disney rebellious, badass non-princess girls, including Mulan, Esmerelda, Pocahontas and girls who never are or become princesses. The whole princess thing just sends the wrong message about girls.

They did almost have Jasmine meet a mermaid-witch once and Aladdin's met Hercules, I agree they should have the princesses meet, it'd be so cool!

@AzulaLover1 Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, & Jasmine along with Alice & original character Kairi were the Princesses of Heart in Kingdom Hearts and they met and talked to each other. But that was a video game though.

You know, people say that Disney and other companies portray beautiful girls as blonde hair blue eyes, and that's why they're excited about the new movie, Princess and the Frog- but that's very unfair to the previous movies...

Only one of them had blue eyes and blond hair- Cinderella. Aurora had brown eyes, Belle had brown hair and eyes, Ariel had red hair and blue eyes... Pocahontas wasn't white and neither was Mulan nor Jasmine.

Disney is very diverse in their character appearances.

I don't think that such series are bad. They are only for small girls/boys ... the real movies are the realy...surely, at beginn I also wasn't very happy because Jasmin & Aurora in "Enchanted Tales" looked for me like some stupid, naives princess' ... and these girl aren't so! :)

Actually I just watched the movie and this is funny..

When she was just Briar Rose the peasant she had brown eyes, (trust me they weren't black, they zoomed up on her face and her eyes were indeed brown.) Then when she put on the dress and was Aurora once again she had blue eyes.

I think it's more of the old animation in which colors change, like Nala, her eye colors changed all over the place.

Seeing both I actually prefer the brown... but with the cheesy sequels she has to have blue eyes

Cindy has apricot coloured hair - if you look in the ORIGINAL film, but apparently they blonde-ified her for the 2008-09 Princesses merchandise for typical reasons. Aurora HAS blue eyes. When she wakes up from her sleep, when her face is drawn in a detailed manner, they're sapphire blue. They look black/brown in other scenes because the animators didn't fill in precise details - otherwise she'd look scary with them .. you probably know what I mean.

@opal615 I think you should probably call Cindy Ella since if you think about it, Cinderella's name can be split into two parts, Cinder and Ella. Since cinder is a thing and Ella is a name, I'm pretty sure her real name is Ella. Sorry if I ranted for a minute but I can't stand it when people call Cinderella Cindy or just Cinderella in general after the original was over. Also, doesn't Aurora have purple eyes?

For most of the banner pairs, the older Princess is on your left and the more recent one on your right, but since Belle's movie is slightly older than Jasmine's, Belle should be on the left.

Is this preview taken from the "Enchanted Dreams: Follow Your Dreams"? This is the only DVD they had, but if they show it, why not! If they add more princesses like Tiana in the upcoming "Princess and the Frog", Rupunzel and Merinda, the first Pixar princess in the upcoming "The Bear and the Bow", this is going way too far!

I guess the plan has been cancelled, so they decided to do the DVD called "Disney Princess Fairy Tales - Vol. 1" instead of "Enchanted Tales - Vol. 2" which will be coming out soon.

They ARE planning to include Tiana (who'll be the 1st Afican ethnic Princess) and Rapunzel.

They did plan on adding Gizelle too, but would have to be forced to pay her actress in a piece of the sales so they chose not to

Umm, yeah they do. Glen Keane, a Disney animating veteran, calls her a princess numerous times on the Pocahontas DVD, and prior to the film's release. Also, she's called a princess tons of times in the crappy sequel. And in real life, the British referred to her as a princess both in Jamestown and when she traveled to England.

I'm still confused as heck as to why they consider -Mulan- a princess. O_o She's married to a military officer, not a prince. ._.; I like Mulan and all but...honestly, I'd consider Megara from Hercules a princess more. (fyi, Megara in the original Herc myth WAS a princess of Thebes...though heh...her ending wasn't so happy in that. ^^;)

I do wish they'd make Megara and maybe Esmeralda princesses, since they were such strong characters, but I guess they didn't have as much air time and thus aren't as popular. I think Jasmin is the only princess whose original movie was not starring her, but her love interest. Ariel, Belle, Mulan, Pocahontas, Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora all starred in their respective movies, though I suppose in Pocahontas' case, John Smith's story was equally emphasized.

I'm glad someone feels the same way! My friend is a huge Belle fan and she's mad that Belle got bumped out of the first Enchanted Tales volume. Now it's a joke between us that Snow White and Belle will share an Enchanted Tales volume together and it will be the best one of all!

Disney is using an animation studio in Japan to create these films, because they closed the studio in Australia. Disney NEVER announced the end of Enchanted Tales. It will continue. If Disney decided to cancel this then the DVD with this trailer on it would have to be re-released for legal reasons.
