IF there is ever a song written that can touch all of your senses it is this song. Tom Cochrain is brilliant. I can not understand that he did not get the credit he deserves, or is it just that the rest of the world has an awful taest for music. Yes almost everything from Canada is fantastic. Heard this for the first time in the early 80's while driving in a snowstorm between Pittsburgh and Buffalo on my way to Toronto. I was nodding off because the snow flowing in the headlights was too hypnotizing. Then this song came on the radio - it woke me up - blew me away. It still does!! For a position to be held on a scale, there must be alternate or opposing factors for a scale too exist. Red Rider occupies the upper end of the scale.
