  • The 5 people who said they didn't like this song really don't understand beautiful music. This is a fantastic tune with the violins, trumpet and Iggy singing it his way.

  • This is Sylvester Stallone singing this.

  • OMG whats wrong with you guys. It is Iggy!

  • brilliant many thanks

  • Okay.

    Music: John Barry

    Lyrics: Hal David

    Original Singer: Louis Armstrong

This version is arranged by David Arnold and sang by Iggy Pop.

David Arnold is a film composer who took over from John Barry at composing the James Bond films from 'Tomorrow Never Dies'. He made this album in the same year, producing songs written by John Barry and getting singers like Iggy in to sing them.

  • I don't doubt that it's Iggy Pop but he sounds startlingly like Edwin Collins.....

  • heard this on "the jacket"

  • It's Jim O.

  • and i always thought this is david bowie, until i discovered that i was completely wrong... :-/

  • An excellent version, almost as good/evocative as Louis Armstrong's original of the great piece by John Barry (with some arrangement by David Arnold). The somewhat somber layers of meaning to the lyric and its use in the movie OHMSS make it very poignant.

  • Adding to Mythtree's notes, David Arnold was John Barry's first full time replacement on the James Bond films, producing the soundtracks for three out of four of Pierce Brosnan's Bond films, and both Daniel Craig films, including writing or co-writing the title tracks.

  • OK I'll TRY to help...

We Have All the Time in the World was written by one of the greatest composers ever, an icon in this era, JOHN BARRY who just died. He is best known for his many BOND MOVIE compositions, as well as a whole spectrum of cinema; he was even the first to use synthesizers in movies in this song, sung by the late great Louis Armstrong, in one of the best Bond movie ever, On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Here IGGY POP covers JOHN BARRY's song, made famous by Mr. Armstrong.

  • The jacket <3

  • @rc4OOO lol thats the only reason i prefer this version

  • iggy did you even know this was vic damone's song? your version is a cheap rip-off, vic's songs had it all .. if you we're a real man and not run by jews, you would have done a duet. don't give me herb albert trumpets.. you need to wake up man the dude that led us has sold out to the jews

  • @up2space

    jews?that's terrible,man.

but seriously... you're wrong.get rid of your hatred and stop worrying.god loves you anyway, for some odd reason.

  • @MmeCylinder hate is a survival mechanism.

  • this is Tom Arnold who's singing.

  • @navarrobass i think its Iggy Pop ....arnold is a musician

  • @navarrobass David*

  • @navarrobass nope, this is Iggy's singing, I'm sure.

  • awesome video

  • I remember his concert in Colmar ( France - 2005 ), it was a great moment.

    Excellente version.

  • I really like Iggys voice! This is a wonderful version of a beautiful song! I didn't like Armstrongs version that much though.. But that's just me :)

  • isnt this david arnold ft iggy pop? i dont mean to sound like a n00b but i also dont know who david arnold is :/

  • @sxephlI I don't know me to my friend.

  • @sentinel3310 The singer is Iggy Pop

The cover was recorded for a compilation called "Shaken & Stirred: The David Arnold James Bond Project," released in 1997.

  • @sxephlI

    Hi sxephll

David Arnold is the James Bond's series most regular composer. He has composed the score for the James Bond films since Tomorrow Never Dies, to the most recent Quantum of Solace.

    Cheers d;-)

  • @sxephlI David Arnold is the arranger of this version, composed by John Barry (R.I.P.). The original was sung by Louis Armstrong (one of his last recordings before he died, btw) for the film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". David Arnold took over the scores of the Bond films primarily from John Barry.

  • @sxephlI David Arnold is the composer for this song. David Arnold is famous because he does the soundtracks for the newest Bond films. Also too he is one of my favourite composers.

  • @sxephlI Iggy Pop vocals on a David Arnold adaptation of the Bond theme from "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". David Arnold did the music for a few of the Brosnan Bond movies and released a CD of 'updated' versions of Bond themes with guest vocalists - David McAlmont, Jarvis Cocker, Chrissy Hynd, etc.

  • Beautifully sung also by Louis Armstrong to be sure.

But the lyrics were by Hal David and music by John Barry.

  • beatiful sort of pictures with beautiful music. yeah love is all

  • I love this version of the song. I just wish people would stop crediting Louis Armstrong for the lyrics.

  • apistefto komati

  • I love this song ! ! !

  • Τέλειοοοοοοο!!!!!!!!!!!!!!5*
