God, i cried listening to this song so many nights; it meant the world to me 10 years ago.

The nice thing is that, differently from most people here, it wasnt me dedicating this song to anyone but it was dedicated to me by my then best (boy) friend whom i loved so much, i couldnt have loved any more. Then he went (or was it me to went?) and listened to this song and cried for about 2 yrs no stopping. It still makes me very sad.

this song reminds me of my late father and my late aunt. they were so close and she moved to cali @ 17y/o.....then my dad passed away and she was so depressed...she ended up passing away 3 years later. and now they are together in Paradise yeaaah

I remember when my mom took me to see them back in 94. I was in fourth grade. It was my very first concert. My sis ( who was in 6th grade) got beer spilled on her. The lead singer lost his shoe while he was doing a jump into a smash grunge style. But he finished the song while he tied his shoe and was wearing bright red (p)leather pants. It was my most memorable and fave concert I have ever been to. I freakin' love this song and the Nixons! I get teary for this song. I <3 U mandy Gayle! :)

A lot of songs from this era of music don't even necessarily need to say anything lyrically about something you've experienced for you to feel it so deeply.... My sister is practically the only family I have left... her and my uncle and some distant relatives... I lost my mom in 05 and it changed my life forever... BUt I like this song a lot... I saw the Nixons in 1998 during the St Patrick's Day festival in Savannah, Ga. It was a free concert. in the street. The "mosh pit" got out of control. Fights broke out and the police used pepper spray stop them. The show ended abruptly.

I once saw them at Rick's in Denton playing in front of a crowd of 6 and I lost my shoe in the mosh pit. :)

I saw them for $5 at a small venue. It was one of the best times ever! They lost the lights for a few but kept playing. I think it was the bassist who had scary clown makeup on and was spitting water into the audience. Low budget show but they were awesome!!

This song came out, like, literally a month after she cut me out of her life. My morning alarm would wake up to the radio.
