  • This wouldn't have been such a huge disaster if the liberal enviro nazi's had not made us drill so deep....Or if we could harvest oil shale. We have more oil stuck in shale then they have oil in the M.E.. And "Party of oil"?? LOL! How much cash has Obamao gotten from oil companies?

On a side note...Do you get beat up alot at school? And word of advice, If you keep letting the other older left wing tards lick your nutts you will be even more ignorant then you are right now.

  • Pres.Oblunder never mentioned that, thanks to liability caps provided by the federal government, BP was able to engage in riskier activities than it would have otherwise. For decades, Libertarians have warned against putting trust in government regulatory bureaucracies. While costing the taxpayers a lot of money, these agencies generally fail to deliver the kind of protections they promise, they discourage vigilance on the part of citizens by lulling them into a false sense of security.

  • @atrueamerican1 Bull. Shallower water is not safer water. What would have happened if this had happened in shallow water? The beach would have been covered in even more oil! But it may have been easier to cap. See, it's a trade off.

  • @WeirdLiberalHead I am talking about LIABILITY CAPS, not oil well caps. If BP had known in advance that it would be fully liable for all damages related to an oil spill, it probably would have taken greater safeguards. When you know that your liability will be strictly limited, cutting corners becomes a lot more attractive. When you know that the gov't will bail you out, you will engage in riskier behaviors. Just like what happened with the Real Estate market. GOV"T CREATED THIS PROBLEM TOO !!!

  • @atrueamerican1 BP should be fully liable anyway.

  • @WeirdLiberalHead Of Course they should be...But When large companies and the government start working together, as is demanded by Liberal Democrats, the results can be disastrous. Congressional liability caps, the MMS bureaucracy, and BP have all cooperated to create a costly disaster that should never have happened. Ronald Reagan was right, The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help. Gov't doesn't solve problems, they subsidize them..

  • Drill, I want to Drill Sarah Palin one day...

  • BTW, BP passed all the government safety regulations. If you will happen to remember the last presidential election, Obama won, thus destroying any attempt to get rid of the safety regulations. As it turns out the safety regulations were completely worthless in the first place! Who knew!

  • Wait, wait, wait. You're blaming Republicans for the oil spill because we want off shore drilling? That's like blaming the Wright brothers for 9/11. The tech is good, blame the people using it.

You do have a decent argument for going against deregulating safety laws though. It's a good argument, and I believe in giving credit where credit is do (instead of, you know, spreading the credit with the false impression that other people deserve what you worked for). Good job.

  • Hey take a look who bought "Boots and Coots" right before the Oil link. Its on Google.

  • LOL....Another GREAT video exposing RepubliCON hypocrisy!

    GOP 2008: "Drill-Baby-Drill"

    GOP 2010: "Spill-Baby-Spill"

    GOP 2012: "Nil-baby-Nil"

  • @mavrek47 #LOL

  • Sure, the GOP wanted to drill off-shore the whole time, but Obama gave into the cries of 'Drill, baby, Drill!' and he should be held accountable for doing such. Good video, nonetheless WLH.
