His tax plan is to cut taxes for the middle and lower classes, and taking away big tax cuts from the richer. He also has a good stance on foreign policy, and he has a plan for more responsible spending for our government (cough cough TRILLIONS IN IRAQ, why didnt Bush focus more on Afghanistan? That is just hard to believe giving that he himself said that he would not have nominated Clearence Thomas because he lacked he experience and was not "a strong enough jurist or legal thinker at the time for that elevation, setting aside the fact that [he] profoundly disagree[s] with his interperetation of a lot of the constitution". Thomas got his (J.D.)degree in 1974 and then became the Assistant Attorney General of Missouri.

Admittedly his ABA rating could have been better, but my point is simple. Thomas had much more experience than Obama.

I would like to see a POTUS with a minimum of 20 years worth of deep consideration of all the issues affecting our nation both foreign and domestic. Military experience is a definate bonus. Tangible proof of longterm bipartisanship is a plus as well. Predictibilty for me is a must. I can better predict McCain than Obama because he has a much longer and established record on nearly every issue. Obama's record is changing on every front, every day. That is impossible to predict. That's just me.
