'Remember this double heading with a '24' out of Shrewsbury with a cement train (Southbound). It was a heavy train and you could hear the wheels micro-slipping, giving a good impression of the forces involved in getting under way. Good to see the loco survives.
323 always looked a bit shabby at Llangollen, and rightly so - that's how they looked everyday. Nice.
