As far as Freemasonry, of course, not being a member, I have no idea what goes on with them on the inside. The way Hall explains it is that there are different levels based on knowledge, wisdom, honor, and self control of sorts. In that I see some degree of eastern concepts linked with Buddhism and understanding of the mind of self and the interaction with the rest of the world. The secrecy is about respect for the knowledge and not allowing it to be abused by the ignorant.

Read Manly P. Halls' Secret Teachings of the Ages or go to the Philosophical Research Society. Hall actually wrote about one hundred books. A feast in every paragraph that the man ever wrote. There's great information there on esoterics and philosophy. There is a conspiracy, but, after a big chase, I'm begining to think that it's directed at Masonry, instead of the other way around. There are so many youtubes accusing and hating on Freemasons. I have said that I am not a Freemason. However I am open minded and I'm not going to just be spoon fed by all the people who hate Freemasons.

I am going to make up my mind on my own. I have not come to any hard conclusions. However I think there is something fishy about the plethora of anti Freemason vids going around - smells heavily of propaganda to me.
