  • Cut the leaves after blooming?? What a joke.

  • I live in a windy area by the beach In Anacortes Wash and I noticed that my Bearded Iris has beautiful flowers but yellowing tips on my foliage? Is this normal? This is my first year planting iris.

  • This guy knows nothing about bearded irises. Bacterial soft rot is caused by too much heat combined with too much humidity, and the best solution is NOT dumping chemicals into your soil, but plant ingirises in well draining soil and keep them dry during hot spells. NEVER whack your plants foliage back as he shows. Only remove dead or diseased foliage and leave all healthy green material - it is feeding next years flowers!
