If this is the future of Grandia, then it's already dead. Not to be a downer, but with Miyaji gone forever and Grandia III being the laughingstock of the series, any chance of reviving this once great RPG series is gone. Seriously Grandia Online? Does anyone else see what a bad move this was?

@finalflare100 Sophisticated lol, yeah right. Grandia 3 was a joke. The battle system was the only thing going for it. The characters were paper thin, the final boss was a complete joke and the whole plot was a generic train wreck. You're obviously one of those kids who's only pleased with style and not substance.

On a side note...WHERE THE HELL IS GRANDIA 4? It was confirmed a while ago, and I saw some (not confirmed to be legit) artwork of the characters done in a similar style to Grandia I >.<

Yeah I'd like to know too. I installed the game, I logged in, but when I click to launch the updater nothing happens...

I hate that Gung-Ho games uses a web interface to launch their games. It's such a pain.

They actually have a manga for Grandia 2, which is pretty decent :]

But I'd much rather see the original in action (as much as I admire Ryudo, the story of Justin captured my heart and imagination!)

I could only imagine how epic it'd become...I can really clearly imagine Justin breaking out of the Garlyll HQ on an anime!! :D

@PocketwatchPictures Oh yea, I honestly would prefer a grandia 1 anime or manga. I mean for me the 2 games were a tie breaker. Grandia 1 has a lovable cast of characters set in an enormous world, with a kick ass musical score and incredible gameplay. Grandia 2 had a dark and unique plot with incredible deep characters but a much smaller world and the score although it was great was nothing compared but the gameplay wass almost the same. I'm gonna look into that manga now.
