Well, with over 1 million hits for Big Poppa's poem I think all will agree that Apple was a bit shortsighted. I think Big Poppa make have gotten some network play this month for it too.
Indeed, if we weren't a couple, I would have hoped some great casting director would hook us up as a YouTube pair. Luckily no agents had to be involved and we do have fun.
ROFL IM SO CANADIAN!! THAT WAS NOT CANADIAN!!! PUT A SHIRT ON U FAG! i still love u too... AND YES i do say EH! but its gotta be the right timing for it...
Indeed, we at Bed Vlogs [who just competed at the Individual World Poetry Slam in Vancouver, Canada ARE fans of Canada. And of Getty Lee and Bob & Doug McKenzie... But how do you get the mice in the beer bottles, eh?
Yeah, actually you do. Canadians and Americans in general pronounce a- and o- sounds differently, especially in words like "out" and "about." It's not as pronounced as comedians make it out to be but I can always tell.
Gone with the Wind was was in fact set in Canada?! So the burning of Atlanta was in fact the burning of Winnipeg! that explains all the flannel shirts worn by the extras. That must have been Selznick's contribution.
Wow, indeed, this must be the smartest comment I have seen on YouTube and with a peice of trivia that surprises even this film buff. Bravo and thanks.
uuuummm, ok when are you guys going to stop talking and start doing something worthwhile to watch (ie. anything relating to a 'you know what' $12 billion dollar industry).
Thank you, thank you and thank you. And, yes, John & Yoko are in our thoughts. Actually our other inspirations are Mr. & Mrs. Brady, Bob Newhart & Burns & Allen [each time we shoot one we end with "say goodnight gracie", but it ends up on editing floor every time]
Wow, you are very clever. Actually, I didn't use it if you'll notice the quotation marks. Really, I don't mind you using the word, you just sounded pretentious by correcting her so i thought I'd make fun of you a little...lol. I was being facetious.
I find myself to be a bit - kind of an understatement - of a stickler when it comes to semantics and the like. Though she had it bang on a couple times and it's not like nobody ever mispronounces a word, or expression, eh?
Nevertheless, I found it to be a most amusing video.
Nah, they do still speak English as the "English" language has branched off into different variations for different regions. What I mean is this: English in Canada is different from English in the United States is different from Britain is different from Australia, etc, etc.
(alias 01jehovah) As you're notapoet, i'm sure you'll agree with me that the beauty of the English language is its diversity and metamorphic quality: a mix of a myriad of other languages. Britain has so many colloquialisms you can pin an accent down to a 50 mile radius. leaving phonetics momentarily, can't you find Big Pappa E a nice FedEx lady, there must be one out there?
indeed, English, while not as structured as C++ or Pascal, is a lovely language. As to Mr. E, you can see in one of his other vlog entries he does have a lovely lady now... who is probably hiding her Canadian accent
Is Mr E's girl called Zara? If so, it seems you Slam poets meet some sweet girls. Do they have Slam poetry events in London?!
On a more serious note, I do (is that a legitimate term) a little poetry, but have never done Slam poetry. Is there a society here in London you know of? I would be interested (in the poetry; I've had enough of women for a while).
Her name is not Zara, but she is my sweetie and she is sweet. There is some slam in London [i think], but I have yet to tour there. I will try to check out the best venue in the area and get back to you.
I haven't seen the film in a while but I will check it out again. I imagine Steve and I probably have similiar song crafting and singing talents. Hold your ears. And check out my poem "God is like a girlfriend" on YouTube for a teaser.
I do try. But, technically speaking, the word still apears in your statement, be it a quote or no, and thus you did indeed use it. Don't worry, my response wasn't, and isn't, meant as an insult; I was merely being a smart ass, as I was with my original comment.
Cooperate training is a m'fkr does coop think that we as employees don't have life ,live our own life outside their coop lafuckingbotomy hate those guys fk them assholes go find a better job hard work and perserverence approval of your concience will make you successfull in the long run working for some other assholes ...doesn't have to be apl fkm feeln it TUBE ON!!! chin up no fn fear ; )

macmogul 5 years ago
Actually, the way she said it was more along the lines of "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn, e-?"
The colloquialism, "Eh", is pronounced as the letter "A".
I have to say, though, that was a very good Southern Belle accent.
Llethander 5 years ago
You know you're a geek when you use the word "colloquialism".
jboldery 5 years ago
And yet in replying to my comment you have just used it, hmm?
Besides, allow me to correct your comment: "You know you have a strong grasp of the English language when you use the word "Colloquialism"."
Llethander 5 years ago
Wow, you are very clever. Actually, I didn't use it if you'll notice the quotation marks. Really, I don't mind you using the word, you just sounded pretentious by correcting her so i thought I'd make fun of you a little...lol. I was being facetious.

Llethander 5 years ago
what does it matter, as long as we understand?
Americans don't pronounce English correctly anyway, they're 'all over the shop' (excuse the colloquialism)
01Jehovah 5 years ago
Nah, they do still speak English as the "English" language has branched off into different variations for different regions. What I mean is this: English in Canada is different from English in the United States is different from Britain is different from Australia, etc, etc.
Llethander 5 years ago
Indeed, us American's can rarely master our own accents quite the way a brilliant Brit like Tim Roth & Gary Oldman can.
