IMO KAdri could have been a candidate for AHL MVP or ROTY honours considering the Marlies missed the playoffs in Kadri's absence and the effect Kadri had on Colborne's play. Also think his goal slump to start his career affected him a bit and now that the monkey is off his back he'll be better with the puck.

Nazem Kadri is a great all around player and is my personal favourite for many reasons. most people think im dumb for haveing so much faith in such a young player but unlike them i watch the games and watch how players play and i dont only watch the hihglights and watch a teams status and say i know what im talking about . i watch the Leafs all the time and focus alot on Kadri. Hes a great player and will for sure in my opinion have a huge input in the leafs run for the playoffs next season . :)

The point remains that the kessel trade seriously stalled toronto's rebuilding process. Trading first round picks for a 30 goal scorer is never smart.
