sorry, George Frideric Handel was an 18th century composer known mostly for "Handel's Messiah"; you would recognize the triumphant Hallelujah Chorus (Hallelujah means "Praise the Lord" btw) because it has been used hundreds of times by Hollywood and the media, eg.candy bar commericals

why did the Jewish rulers decide to pay 30 pieces of silver to Judas to betray Jesus? they needed to Judas to tell the soldiers who Jesus was, which is an indication that Jesus looked like a typical Jewish man of the times, that you couldn't tell who He was just by looks - Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah was "nothing to look at" (Isaiah 53:2 "He has no form or comeliness, and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.")

No I have never experienced any of these things and that is becos of the path I CHOSE I am sorry you have had bad experiences there is a difference in being religious and being a Christian. Jesus shows me that it is not my right to judge you for your choices, no one has that right to judge you, thats God's job. Jesus shows me that I should accept you and treat you kindly no matter what your path is. I don't have to agree with your choices in life but I shall not judge you for them! God Bless

Have you or the people you love ever been targeted by the Christian right? Has anyone on the Christian right ever run political campaigns to deny you equal marriage rights, for example? I believe my experience with "loving" Christians is different from yours. Most religions are "loving" as long as you agree with them. It is when you don't that you see their true colours.
