Eh, I love this song, buy this performance doesn't seem to bring anything new to the table (figuratively and literally b/c you're seated at the a table). It just doesn't speak the true meaning of the song to me, which is Jennifer Jason Leigh losing her virginity in a baseball dugout.
@richardburchett Ok. Honestly, I've never seen the movie. I just like the song and Jackson Browne in general. I do have to take exception to the "nothing new" comment, since it was my own arrangement, and I've never heard it done with just guitar and djembe... but whatever. To me, music and its meaning has always been what you make of it, whether as the listener or the performer. Plus, it was just fun to jam with my brother. Cheers!
