I agree that sometimes vigilante justice is better than our own (American) criminal justice system. in as much as i hate murder nor do i approve of vigilantism, this may have saved taxpayers a lot of money & given that young woman some solace. but my more important question is: why in the hell did "frequently lure her to a hotel & give her alcohol"? where were the parents to say something? why weren't the cops called after the FIRST incident?

i acknowledged her age. but at 15, she's still, essentially a child. after 1 instance, no daughter, sister or niece of mine would be getting "lured" anywhere. not to say that parents need to be watching their kids 24/7 but their parental teachings should be taking over after a certain age.

i NEVER approve of murder. i honestly think that people deserve a 2nd chance to do the right thing even if they fuck up again. i suppose this opens a completely different can of worms. but in a profound way, she's a little bit safer now. here's hoping that she doesn't fall into the same (or any other kind of) trap again. but now, people are thinking that "ultimate justice" is the answer. this is a scary precedent
