  • Hello dearest Leon...Nice playing...we bought also a Roland BK-7m module. We are very happy with this toy. My 23 years old Roland keyboard has a new breath, a new life.

    Best wishes,

    Alain

  • @AlainProviste55 - Congratulations Alain on your new BK-7m arranger. I know it is in good hands. You will surely make it sing better than I ever could.

    Your friend Lillo

  • @amarcordeon - Thank you Lillo for taking the time to listen to my music and giving me such kind words. You are an inspiration to many.

    Leon

  • Beautiful instrument, wonderful tone. thank you, giovanni

  • @GiovanniMariaTommaso Thank you.

  • nice man but I would work on your facial expressions a little ... smile some?

  • I am interested in the new Roland,As a guitar player can i use this unit like a ketro sd3 using bass pedals to change the keys etc??Carl.Or do i need a keyboard to use it??. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HEAR A REPLY,THANKS

  • @flyinga40 - The BK-7m works with a guitar using a MIDI interface (Roland GI-20, etc.) and FC-7 pedal unit. I have never used the Ketron SD3 arranger, but my vArranger2 system with MIDI pedal unit provides better (more variety) pedal control of style variations and treble voices than the BK-7m with FC-7 pedal. Still, the small size, portability, and lower price of the BK make it attractive.

  • * * * VERY NICE ! * * *

  • @Bidyyy - Thank you. One day I'll have to play you a country tune.

    Leon

  • @DAN141000 - Merci Daniel pour encourager ma musique d'accordéon. Leon

  • I agree Leon, it allows you to push the boundaries of what sounds nice. Like your rendition of moonlight serenade. great stuff.

    Best regards

    Eddie

  • Hi Leon!

    Thanks for this demonstration!

Everybody can see, that a good audio recording needs a lot of equipments!

I my opinion the KETRON SD4 has a better rhythm pattern!

    *****

    Istvan

  • @Accordioncrasy - Thank you Istvan for taking the time to listen to all my comparative tests. You are so correct about good audio recording equipment, and as you know it requires proper technique as well. Yes, those accompaniment patterns coming through the Ketron SD4 do sound very good. Thank you for giving your opinion.

    Leon

  • @ImaLanger - Thank you Mike for noticing the sonic quality of these new electronic arranger system. They're getting better and better all the time. And thanks for noticing how I have improved.

The proprietary pedal is the Roland FC-7, which is a generic, non MIDI unit that connects directly to many of their keyboard models. Unfortunately the MIDI pedal unit that I bought to work with my vArranger2 system can't connect.

  • Great video leon

I know that tune but cant think of it lol.

    Great module

    Great sounds

    Godbless

    Kev

  • @MrCavanKev - Thank you Kev for visiting and giving your approval to the sonic quality of the new Roland backing module. The tune is "Now Is The Hour". It's easy to play, so I use it a lot for making comparision tests. Keep riding that tractor.

    Leon

  • Thanks Leon for an excellent comparison study. Both systems have their merits. I do like the Tyros sound though of the V2.

Your channel is becoming a bit of a must to check out!

    best regards

    Eddie

  • @edsternet - Thank you Eddie for sharing your opinion. I agree that the Tyros styles sound very good. One thing is for sure, these arranger system are getting better and better all the time.

    Leon

  • Great stuff Leon, I love every version you played here, this new module sounds superb. Wonderful performance !!

    Best wishes...Nick.

  • @Wildrover434 - Thank you for your approval of the new module. I respect your opinion.

    Leon

  • wow Leon, this is cool. All sound great, it's really amazing what these systems can do. But if I had to choose I think I would go for the Roland. And your playing is very relaxed, it seems as if you're quite happy with the smaller FR-3.

    Greetings,

    Silvia

  • @sia1807 - Thank you Silvia for sharing your preference. I trust your ears. Sonic quality is getting better and better all the time on these latest instruments. And the small size almost unbelievable.

    Leon

  • @AccordionLadyMi - Thank you Fran. They're making these electronic devices with higher and higher sonic quality.

    Leon

  • Félicitations Léon pour cette démonstration du Roland BK-7m.

Il me semble être très bien. La sonorité et l'accompagnement sont biens.

Introduction et final super.

    Leon

  • very nice played

    Smiles from Wisconsin..Sherry

  • @sherrywine1941 - Well hello Sherry from Wisconsin. I'm happy that you stumbled into my channel and saw me demonstrating my first steps using the Roland "thingy". We certainly do live in a world of strange and varied products for making music, and at my playing level they are an enjoyable enhancement. Thanks for the positive encouragement.
