  • Tydzień temu odkryłam Film "Once". Urzeczona muzyką , odkryłam Glena Hansarda - urzeczona wciąż , nieustannie

  • Never seen this movie... the music popped up when I was watching the song "Falling Slowly" though. * ^ * It has a gorgeous soundtrack.

  • hey, guys! Can someone help me to find the song that Glen Hansard played at the very beginning of the movie when he was performing in the street and stopped becxause of that guy who wanted to steal money from him. i really liked that song but i cant find it anywhere. i'll be very grateful if someone helps me with that. thank you!

  • @dinabaidildayeva The song is called "Say It To Me Now", I was just listening to it last night :) you can find a few versions on youtube.

  • @dinabaidildayeva and the healing has begun by Van Morrison

  • @niji16 thank you! i found this song. but i like it more when Glen Hansard sings rather than Van Morrison. Glen does it with great passion. i can't find it though

  • @dinabaidildayeva No problem! Glen usually does do either better or as good as covers of other peoples' songs. Too bad you can't find it!

  • @dinabaidildayeva No problem! It is hard to find.

  • ne1 know the chords for this song?

  • @919684 im sure it wud b in open tuning, checkout ultimate guitar tabs.com

  • @solle100 falling slowly

  • @caohnsta Thank you :D

  • @solle100 falling slowly

  • The sound track is one of my favs, and Glen Hasard went to England, not the US. But I agree with you baby15gem

  • I cant believe there comment fights on this video. Just listen and forget. Please and thanks you. Esta es una de las canciones mas hermosas que alla escuchado. C'est tres tres tres tres tres chose!? I don't know what tho.

  • I love this soundtrack and film, but i hated this song, but i just listen to the lyrics and its a great song.

  • @maxxm123 but ur still a douche bag, up yours buddy...

  • @boxanova66 haha good one, thanks buddy.

  • @boxanova66 stfu faggot.

  • What's scaredest things in the world???/

    No love !!!!!!!

Im glad we have love everyday !!!!

  • This would be much better with a single guitar, no harmony, and DEFINITELY no violin. A great song but like the others, a little bit overproduced for the spirit of this film in my opinion.

  • @levanyzzuf

This song is perfect! It's from the scene in the Irish pub and the violins and the harmonies capture the place perfectly. Guess you've never been in an Irish pub. And definitely not overproduced - the production is minimal, it's just the harmonies and a few simple instruments

  • @TreePhoto I've never been to Ireland, but the production here is a bit too top-heavy for my taste. Single guitar, single vocalist would have been perfect.

  • @levanyzzuf i think that is just a more of an opinion.

i mean, i definately can strike emotion out of violin.

they were in dublin, and this song has a very irish feel to it.

    just sayin.

  • @levanyzzuf don't be mistaken with the tuning. its EBEEBE, which is very unique. it sounds like more than 1 guitar because of so many of the same notes on the same strings.

  • i wish they could have love.

it makes me think of the world.

i wish we could have love

  • i think they did have a happy ending, theyre just not together. i mean, Guy brought Girl a piano..Girl have made up with her husband and Guy goes to US to find his love. its frustrating that they didnt end up together though they just met for a week anyway. and also i think, thats why they titled it Once coz theyre still strangers in a way and its like nothing happened between them but something special did and they dont have to say it... did i make sense?

  • @baby15gem i believe England, not the US

  • @Pyrofreak321 i believe so.

    i think London specifically.

  • @baby15gem - the guy goes to london not US

  • @baby15gem guy went to London though... but i'm with you... happy ending all the way....

  • @sayhi87 yup the dude got the bitch a dildo...

  • @baby15gem Wish I hadn't read this before I watched the movie. LOL

  • @baby15gem : This does make sense. in a confusing way, but id does...

  • @baby15gem : it does make sense. In a confusing way, but it does.

  • @baby15gem

Spoiler alert...!!!! ... !!! Great!!! Now I now the ending just for hearing the song

  • @baby15gem wasn't it london?

  • @baby15gem yup you did ;))

  • @baby15gem he weent to london bud :p

  • @baby15gem His love who will fuck another dude again.

  • @baby15gem he went to London, not the US.

  • @baby15gem I have to agree with that, but the last scene was the girl looked out of the window with a sadness words couldn't describe. I think the movies end wasn't their destiny.

  • @baby15gem Absolutely agree. I just came back from the play at the NYTW in the village. It was incredible. The thing that kept her from giving in to her love for him was that the songs he wrote from his soul were for another woman. She knew the capacity of his love for the other girl by the emotion he put into those songs. She knew that he needed her and put that love before her own. Incredible tale of love and honor. It was in her giving that she was an angel as he called her.

  • its great movei full of emottion

  • <3 this song.. i only came across this the other week as well

  • Another Pakistani fan :D

  • LOL me too!

    From pakistan :D

  • only for this film id be long gone, glen marketa i love yis

  • Polska Cię kocha:)

  • @nefezi what does that mean?

  • i love glen hansard, i dont get why he isnt recognised ???

  • Well The Frames for some reason seems to only be popular in the Czech Republic.

  • Maybe, but now they have at least one fan in Pakistan too - me :)

  • This was a good movie but it is a great soundtrack.

  • lol this morning I woke up with the thought of this song and I had to find it again^^ I love every song from this movie!

  • I would like to play this on quitar and sing it with somebody. I love this piece.

  • i luv da film and da songs.u know,i've watched da trailer(da movie watched on STAR),snippet of falling slowly was on it,n i know i've 2 watch da movie.Hansard av tis honesty bout him when he sang, jus touches me.Brilliant..

  • if you hate the music + the film then don't comment instead of innoying everyone else who appreciates good music.

  • The film isn't about saccharine Hollywood reality, it's about everyday reality and in everyday reality there aren't always happy endings

  • I dunno.. I felt like this had a happy ending. Just not the glitsy glamour all live happily every after kinda ending most films have, it was nice and simple :)

  • it all depends on how you interpret(?) the songs. I personally think that piano solo song the girl does near the end of the recording session is about "guy"(main character), not her husband. So maybe not a happy ending but certainly a fulfilling one. I see both of em in an unhappy unfulfilling relationship at the end of the movie. Thats just me i guess

  • He ("guy") write songs about her former girlfriend. She ("girl") wrote a song about her husband (I think it's about him). They meet each other, and finally fight for what they think it's the best thing to do, not something passing... That's the great point of the film!!

  • Completely agree. This movie is so sad, because the girl and the guy were really ment for themselves - but didn't end together; and on the other hand - sad and beautiful, as they had their 'once' they spent together, and that was - I think - the best time of their lives.

So many mixed emotions comes from me when I listen to the music and watch the movie, cause I see a refference to my life.

    Sad and beautiful...

  • You are absolutely right! What a depressing annoying deal...who needs it?

  • can anyone tell me what are the guitar chords for this?

  • It's mainly Emaj7 to Emaj with alot of Emaj scale improv with an open E going the whole time to create a drone effect and with double ocatves on the notes.

  • sounds a lot like its tuned so that open it is EMaj though, then its just a lot of sliding around and such on the third and 4th strings that fits in with the Emaj scale

  • this is playing when the girl and the boy have gone at place that everyone drinking and singing..

  • is that a mandolin i here or am i hallucinating?

  • win win situation

  • By Interference but ok.

  • awesome song. really like it

  • the guitar chords are awesome

  • interessant xD

    schickes lied

  • i really like this song
