...ah...this looks like the expansion of
(a+b)^2, which is why that "2" appears
in that multiplication 5x7x2x10 for
the '57' example. A fun video, with

do 57-50=7
den half 50 = 25
25 + 7 = 32 <---- first two digits
den do 7 squared = 49 <----- last two digits
den put dem together
which equals 3249.
