i just got the m-audio ultra...and i want it to work. i installed the drivers and the m-audio control panel keeps saying the device is not connected even though it is. anyone got any ideas?? i got windows vista .

Very good cover!, I have a Fast Track Ultra Too... Did you have any Volume Problems? For Example I have to turn the headphone knob to its full capacity to hear normaly. And if I record an electric guitar direct to ultra, the volumen is low with the preamp to the half capacity!

Thanks.  Actually, Harry Joe wrote this song - all original. I don't have any issues with headphone volume. You might want to try a differnt impedance headset. Always best to use a direct box between the guitar and FTL XLR input.

M Audio Fastrack Ultra pre-amps only. AKG 414B XL II and AKG C451B. Bass straight in through a direct box. Mixed with Sony ACID.
